From first thoughts to a lasting impression, this manga exhibits probably one of the most rational and realistic characters any isekai or “inserted into a game” manga has done before. Start to finish, this manga had me hooked more than ever solely off the basis of the characters, not the trope, which is impossible for a “game isekai” fanatic like me.

how set-up they were. There’s also a decent amount of side characters with their own backstory, however, there’s also a fair share who fall to cliche of “bad for the sake of being bad.”
The plot isn’t anything innovative, as it is the “transported into my favorite game” trope, however, it does take a rather refreshing take due to the characters, mainly the mc. The mc doesn’t go Willy nilly and flex his mc powers over others, and these characters also all don’t suck up to the mc, actually going through progression and rationality before making a decision.
If there was anything wrong with this manga, then it would absolutely be the pacing. The rate of developments for this manga is incredibly slow — in 20 chapters, there haven’t been any significant progressions, as they are only subtle and still in the works; this may be due to the limited amount of LN and WN chapters, but it is quite infuriating to read despite not being noticeable or disengaging.
For the trope, the balance between the mc’s overpoweredness, and the characters, this manga really is captivating despite not having the most intricate plot or pacing of events. When I say I was glued onto this manga, I really was, as I couldn’t put it down before finishing it, and you may be the same as me if you appreciate rational characters and a weak mc.
