Plot seemed a little interesting despite being standard. She becomes the evil dukes bride in place of her sister only to later find out the rumour of him is untrue. Evil Emperor, loyal butler and other cliche characters. Story ends with them becoming the new rulers and defeating evil

I completed it in 48 hours. Translation is bad at times and most story elements feel rushed or uncompleted. The ending specifically happens in just 3 chapters with no wedding, coronation or even celebration mentioned previously, most probably rushed.

Characters are very basic showing little development or higher emotion making them predictable. No character holds a proper ... grudge despite people dying and being betrayed. What happened with the adopted parents, princess, citizens, other dukes and nobles? Did they all just disintegrate in the last 10 chapters? Making major plot points only to discard them should be a crime. Magic is a large thing but is never exactly explained, just pretty explosions I guess

My rating is only this high as it was fun to read as a way to waste time but if you enjoy a good story, good translation or a proper ending. Don't read this.

the ml is SO BAD. why “testing” the fl by literally KIDNAPPING HER??

the fl is forgiving WAY too fast. if it was me, i aint marrying that man 💀

the story is so bland. a girl marrying the so-called “duke of the north who will say “interesting..~” just because she is different from the other girls”, then they’re on denial, the duke falls in love first, then they live happily ever after.

conclusion: my time is worth more than this manhwa. 2/10. (yeah i dropped this manhwa at chapter 23. my brain is melting just from it. if ... yall wanna read it, pls dont do it with a brain.)

Not worth the time at all. The title may seem catchy but the author made a huge mistake by taking the huge number.

I'll just give you the pros and cons of this series and beware spoilers ahead

Pros:
1. Good looking art
2. Strong Female lead(even though she forgave the Duke too fast but her initial reaction to the "test" was appropriate)
3. The Princess is also a good character


... Cons:
1. I absolutely despise the Duke and especially Dillard the butler for setting up and ruining the lives of 98 ladies. (Spoiler- I am horrified by the victim blaming, gaslighting, blackmail, kidnapping etc that they subjected the ladies to. They already know these women are trying to escape from an abusive situation and they lead them right back to their abusive homes)(also the MC literally went to the Duke's estate cause Penelope's parents couldn't refuse the proposal from high nobles. The gaslighting by Dillard covers that up to. Like how many of the Duke's previous brides were forced into the situation)
2. Dillard's behaviour towards commoners and his biases. He's an asshole
3. MC falling fast for the Duke
4. The Duke manipulating MC
5. MC naively bringing a child into her estate without background checks
6. The overuse of "she's different from other girls" trope by the author.
7. Also the "test" is a stupid idea especially cause of the excessive number. Like it would have made sense for 1-3 people but 98? Plus the excuse of the magic potion removing memories is flimsy. It would be noticed if someone lost their memory so suddenly. Author basically doomed the story but setting the high number.

I rate MC's personality 6, ML's 5, and the rest 3-4. Not worth the read
