I'll just give you the pros and cons of this series and beware spoilers ahead
Pros:
1. Good looking art
2. Strong Female lead(even though she forgave the Duke too fast but her initial reaction to the "test" was appropriate)
3. The Princess is also a good character
Cons:
1. I absolutely despise the Duke and especially Dillard the butler for setting up and ruining the lives of 98 ladies. (Spoiler- I am horrified by the victim blaming, gaslighting, blackmail, kidnapping etc that they subjected the ladies to. They already know these women are trying to escape from an abusive situation and they lead them right back to their abusive homes)(also the MC literally went to the Duke's estate cause Penelope's parents couldn't refuse the proposal from high nobles. The gaslighting by Dillard covers that up to. Like how many of the Duke's previous brides were forced into the situation)
2. Dillard's behaviour towards commoners and his biases. He's an asshole
3. MC falling fast for the Duke
4. The Duke manipulating MC
5. MC naively bringing a child into her estate without background checks
6. The overuse of "she's different from other girls" trope by the author.
7. Also the "test" is a stupid idea especially cause of the excessive number. Like it would have made sense for 1-3 people but 98? Plus the excuse of the magic potion removing memories is flimsy. It would be noticed if someone lost their memory so suddenly. Author basically doomed the story but setting the high number.
I rate MC's personality 6, ML's 5, and the rest 3-4. Not worth the read
