Ugh I didn't think I'd ever abandon a story because it was too much for me. But Flawed Almighty did it.
As a youngster, Jeonji Kim was bullied for his name until he became a bully himself and a legend in the area. Destined to become a feared gangster, a motorcycle accident interrupts his career before it could really take off. Still, he remains a petty thug, so he also turns on a beggar - who may be more than he seems. At least that's what the angel claims, who visits Jeonji the next day and proves her identity by first inserting a knife into him,
...
only to heal him immediately.
In fact, the beginning is still harmless when compared to the rest of the work. Here it's about all the psychological problems one can have - the protagonist has to help people to get rid of the curse he received because he turned on God. And these cases are soon those who are on the verge of suicide, have chronic anxiety disorders or any other severe problems.
Even though the stories always end well, the story grabs you where it's really, really uncomfortable. Every time a new 'wish' comes up, you have to brace yourself for some chapters that are very hard to watch. Whether it's because you just find the characters really stupid (honestly, there were a few situations where I could only wonder what kind of idiots they were in parts) or because the story hurts your heart - I had both. This creates a constant up and down, a change between joy, because people who were really at the end, can finally regain hope and disgust, hate, sadness, because new people appear, who just have such problems.
Even though I have to admit that not every story, not every work has touched me so much, the manhwa is unfortunately not for me, which is why I broke it off after 42 chapters.
