Badass, emotionless bastards or vulnerable, reliant characters, which main character archetype does the larger demographic prefer? Of course, the former, as characters with flaws and a lack of strength aren’t enjoyable to read comparatively to the breeze-through opponents and constant sudden/proven power-ups. As such, this manga is bound to have worse reviews than any generic “trash” despite being nearly identical in every aspect.
