So when I first started reading this, I didn't read much rom-com manga where it didn't left off from an anime. But when I saw it only had 5 chapters I thought I'd give it a try and I got hooked right away.
It has your typical childhood friend rom-com where they've been friends since chilhood but never dated, but the childhood friend will actually win in this cause it's not a harem, it's just a guy and a girl with no rivals and we jump right into the middle of their "I love you game".

And what the I love you game is, is basically ...

This manga really was a lot better than what I expected. You have this common romance trope, but the way it is executed is so cute, wholesome, and exciting. I'm not a huge fan of the romance genre, but this one instantly had me hooked from chapter 1. Normally I find romance mangas more designed for female audiences, and I find it hard to relate to many of the female characters(I'm a male). However, this is one of those few romance anime that I am able to relate to both the female and male mc and fall in love with their chemistry. Give this manga ...

This is very mixed depending on how you perceive these type of mangas, however it is quite recommended. The manga starts off very well explaining the concept of the entire game, however after the first few chapters everything seems repetitive. It feels like there actually has been no actual progression between the two MC's. But despite being repetitive, the manga just makes you want to read more until the point where you get sick of it.

I recommend reading it in few chapters and coming back every few months. Its not like the mangaka uploads oftenly anyway.

Should u read it? maybe. its very slow paced and ...

Manga enthusiasts searching for a delightful and heartwarming slice-of-life story need look no further than the enchanting world of "The 'I Love You' Game." Authored with precision and imbued with subtle emotions, this manga is a tender exploration of young love, friendship, and the challenges that come with growing up.

Set in the realm of adolescence, the story revolves around Yukiya Asagi and Miku Sakura, two childhood friends who concocted a game in sixth grade where they would try to embarrass each other by saying, "I love you." What was once a lighthearted competition to outwit and outmaneuver the other gradually evolves into something deeper and ...

I highly recommend reading Aishiteru Game wo Owarasetai, basically if you like romcoms, chances are you'll love this manga aswell.

I'm writing this review on the 31/01/2023, meaning there is only ( unfortunately :( ) 27 chapters released at the time.

To sum it up, this manga isn't trying to revolutionize the genre, it's simply a cute lovestory with every detail done right. The alchemy between the two main characters works, it's your typical childhood friend premise, but the balance is just right between comedy, romance, cute moments, "tense" moments. There is a benevolent atmosphere, you'll quickly like both Miku & Yukiya, the dynamic between ...

If middle school relationships were materialized into a manga, it would be this. Now, I speak from the heart here because I had a relationship exactly like this, and the second-hand/first-hand embarrassment of nostalgia I get from this manga is absurd. Well, moving on from that negative bias, the manga’s trope sets the rest of the story to be pretty one-dimensional with one specialty, so there’s not much diversity in the conflict or plot.

Although the plot/trope isn’t revolutionary, with “Kaguya-sama” being one of the first drawn similarity, it relies on the cringe/wholesome moments the characters exhibit as the main attention. However, that’s all there is ...

It was one of the best romcoms I've ever seen. I loved the storyline and the characters. In most of the mangas, we see the MC is gloomy but then somehow he makes friends and becomes an extrovert, I'm glad this story didn't turn that way it was just 2 childhood friends trying to figure out the other person's feelings. It was a bit cliche but I guess it's fine it's supposed to cliche.

Art: The best part was the art. It was clean and really sharp. It was one of the best arts in romcom I've ever seen.

Story: The story was a bit unbelievable and ...

Its another high school romance, so what does it do differently this time? Not much, its fairly typical for a romance anime where both characters love each other but they dont wanna admit it. Sure the premise is a bit unique and can make interactions a bit different and at the beginning it was neat. But thats kind of it, it can make interactions different, but it really doesnt, its just like any other romance out there.

Its a comfy and nice read and nothing is too bad about it. The main thing that irks me is that the story progresses but at ...

"I Want to End the Game of Love" is a manga that embraces its cheesy moments in a surprisingly enjoyable way. While the romantic encounters can be over-the-top by hanging on the edge of this "game" they are partaking in, they add a touch of charm to the story, making it endearing rather than cringeworthy. However, in my opinion, the male MC, Yukiya, can be unlikable at times due to his social ineptitude. It's a common trope in manga to have socially awkward male protagonists, and while it may feel overdone, it's ultimately a matter of personal preference.

On the other hand, Miku, the female lead, ...

This is I would say the most sweetest manga I've read and possibly can give you diabetes reading this manga. You are guaranteed to smile in every chapter without you realizing. The execution of the Formula is really amazing that many rom coms fail to do.

It starts of introducing the characters and the background of the game. Your typical childhood friends trope but they are in this game they made between them where they confess to each other making the opponent get flustered. So no other candidate would be entering the mix and you a guaranteed to have the both of them to get ...

This manga is really great. Personally, I wasn't a big fan of romance manga or anime but lately I have been watching and reading romance manga and they are just so wholesome. I found about this manga from "You must read this manga 2024" and I am glad I did. You can't help but smile and feel good while reading this manga. Both Yukiya and Miku are so relatable and adorable, and their interactions are so wholesome. Just from chapter 1, I got hooked on the story and completely invested.

The are of the manga is great and beautiful. Making the manga even more special.

Totally recommend ...

This manga is really heartwarming, well-written, well-drawn, and is indeed entertaining. Using the never-ending "I LOVE YOU" game as the main reason they can act kind of 'flirty' is unexpectedly great. As the story progress, it actually got more entertaining. Supported by the well-drawn characters, it is really interesting. The mangaka gives you the mixed feeling of 'SWEETNESS' (because the MC and the Female Lead are both shy but also try to be agressive with each other and can't be honest about their feelings. That's why you will see them flirt a lot) and 'UNCERTAINTY' (because of the uncertainty about their relationship, as they didn't ...
