New life. Sakamoto Days and Crazy Food Truck both follow two former dangerous individuals setting out for a new life only to still be involved in such dangerous affairs, fighting in the name of maintaining their peace in life. Sakamoto Days does this with a former assassin paired with an old friend, Sakamoto constantly being hunted. Crazy Food Truck doing this with burger man Gordon with a superhuman Arisa he protects. Both are good manga, executing good action and comedy simultaneously.

New leaf. Gokushufudou and Crazy Food Truck both follow an incredibly dangerous person, who decided it would be better in life to do something a bit more out of the danger zone. Tatsu and Gordon are in the same boat with passing over their ex-mafia and ex-militant days respectively into following a stranger, but more calm life of being a househusband and an owner of a food truck. Both are good manga with comedic elements to them too. Though Crazy Food Truck is more action-packed than Gokushufudou.

Hear this recommendation out first. Elfen Lied and Crazy Food Truck both follow protagonists who end up getting partnered with one who has deep government official affairs, the duos in each manga continue to have their male MC hide these inhuman females from those pursuing them, making for plenty of intense moments in such a time. Crazy Food Truck is more action type and comedy type with its setting for it, Elfen Lied however being a dark and depressing feeling. Both manga is good at maintaining an intense atmosphere with their respective diverging genres. And yes, the ecchi is similar.

Both manga feature cooking and procuring ingredients for dishes by killing creatures or foraging in a fantasy world. Fans of the cooking theme in either manga will most likely enjoy the other for similar reasons.
