Honestly, this one was a little disappointing. It wasn't bad in any sense but it was a whole bunch of nothing burgers to me. The reason this gets a 7 is because there is not a lot to fault at it but not a lot to enjoy in this too.

Story 7/10: Kind of basic, friends to lovers except they don't show drag out the journey of them being friend to more. To be honest, I was more interested in the Male main character's sister story more than the main couple.

Art 9/10: This art style is cute. I personally loved it, the character designs were ... great and in general the art is aesthetically pleasing.

Character 6/10: Characters are not up to the mark and because of the short chapters we don't get to know the characters much.

Enjoyment 6/10: It was neither here or there, so I just read it for the sake of completing it , it was not very enjoyable but not totally boring too.

I really liked this series to be honest. The story itself is a fluffy childhood friends romance that while is slightly shoujo, can still be enojyed by both demographics. The romance is also ever so slightly more mature/realistic than usual childhood friend romances.

Art 8/10: Very cute, yet pretty standard. It's not super cutesy tho, which I think adds positively towards the mood. Like most other twitter manga, this series is also digitally drawn, if anyone cares.

Story 7/10: Nothing amazing, just childhood friends who become a couple shortly before their graduation from high school.

Characters 8.5/10: This personally was the selling point for me. While the lead ... characters themselves are fairly generic, it's their dynamic and interactions that had me hooked.. Similarly to what I believe made Horimiya so amazing, they actually act like 17/18 yr old high-schoolers, and they actualy act like they have been childhood friends for 10+ years (however, this series doesn't execute it as well as Horimiya in my opinion). This was really refreshing seeing as how it seems like virtually all romance these days are just chock full of constantly blushing and flustered teens acting like they're in grade school (not that it's bad, but it gets old after a while).The leads still can be tropey sometimes, so keep that in mind.

Overal 8/10: Very cute, had a lot of heartwarming scenes, and best of all, had an actually good ending! What's not to like?

This is a solid story that takes place during the 3rd year of high school, a period many manga and anime avoid. It has very little drama or "interesting" events, but watching love escape from friendship and bloom is wonderful!

Both Natsuha and Yuuki are pretty complex characters for the tropes one might expect from them. They are innocent but not overly dependent on one another: in other words, a good couple. Their story is very simple and realistic, fitting the high school slice of life themes perfectly. Just don't expect a lot of comedy in this romcom.

7/10 I initially was considering giving this an 8, ... but I actually had to take a break while reading since it was so flat. I do recommend reading this, but only if you want something really mellow and relaxing. It is good, and sometimes people need something good rather than life changing.

Childhood friend victory, that alone makes this manga worth reading. However, that's just the end conclusion to a story that focuses strongly on developing the two main characters in a realistic, meaningful way. The focus on the frustrations, misunderstandings, and growth that comes with dealing with the uncertainty of a pending, inevitable change makes it a satisfying story to be invited into.

Yuuki and Natsuha have lived next door to each other in the same apartment complex for over ten years. Now in their third year of high school, they have been rumored to be dated for that entire time, and Natsuha resolves to end that ... by "breaking up" with Yuuki as friends. Yuuki dislikes the idea, so he asks why they shouldn't go ahead and date, to Natsuha's delight. However, that transition from childhood friends to lovers requires a significant change, which the manga explores in a sympathetic and charming way.

There's no great world changing going on here. The art is cute, the characters are likeable, the scenario is sweet. It's a slice of life story that brings the reader in and keeps them there until the ending. I strongly recommend reading it, especially for the romantics who want to watch a strong love bloom.

Would you like to read about a childhood friendship, or, more befittingly, a childhood relationship, in the most reproachable sense of this word? Clearly, all good-will is absent from it, thus rendering void the very name of friendship. Not only is it destitute of that zeal, but even of any constancy or blamelessness. If it were a ridiculous gag comedy, I'd like. But in spite of this, the story reads more like a shoujo manga in which our heroine quite likes not only to abuse the patience of, but even to threaten with her words the one who should be worth ... many bushels of salt. What truly love-struck person would make the most terrible threats against their own lover to make them act how they'd like? Moreover, what lover in the world would sustain such abuses? These characters act not as childhood friends would, but as a mistress and a possessed puppet would. Even after she has suffered in pity and regret and claimed to cherish her relationship, she continues to abuse it. What moral goodness there is supposed to be has mixed with vinegar and soured. This is so self-evident that it requires no further discussion.
