Basically the anti-version of Rent-a-Girlfriend. I wouldn't even be surprised if its creation was directly influenced by RaG as the first volume is a giant middlefinger to its premise. Instead of feeding into the fantasy of a rental girlfriend and a customer developing feelings for one another, it chooses a much more cynical yet realistic approach. There are no feelings, it's just a job. And instead of glorifying it or downplaying it as any other job, it is treated as what it is: You pay money so someone pretends to be your friend, your partner or your sex fetish.

There is no better way to describe this manga than this:
EMOTIONAL DAMAGE Those that enjoy being sad after reading stories about the fucked up lives of some characters will love this. This manga is a compilation of stories of characters we meet along the way. Some stories can end decently and at least spare you the sadness at the end, while others will leave a bad after-taste. Either way, the conclusions are always very realistic. The drawing style is pretty generic among shoujo manga. This one is popular amongst men, being a shounen for some reason. Regardless of its demographic target orientation, it is worth a read, for anyone ...

Soooo at first, before I started reading this, I thought it would be similar to Rent a Girlfriend because . BUT I actually like this more because this is in multiple people’s perspectives/ point of view and the art is pretty good. And I like how each person had some sort of struggles that isn’t obvious until the story goes to their pov. And I love the art but I feel like this story can be depressing and kinda unrealistic sometimes but I personally like it this way. But I do get annoyed sometimes by some characters because of their decisions and how they acted

its my first review but aight
first of all, its a short read, theres only 4.5 chapters for now. the story is pretty solid, it follows the main character yuki as she progresses through the story as a rental girlfriend. honestly i think this is better than kanojo, okarishimasu as instead of your harem bs, annoying loser mc stuff, you get interesting plot and and overall makes more sense to me and the art is also very good. the main thing is that it reflects the internal struggles of the mc, actual people with actual problems, as she navigates her way on how love is potrayed ...

This is a hidden gem.
This manga gives a darker light to cultures like Rental Girlfriend culture, Host club culture, and Nightlife, which has been glamorized by anime like Rent-a-GF. If you don't want to see the MC creaming over the thought of his crush getting banged by another person, you guys should read this to open your eyes to new perspectives. What's beautiful about this manga, is how the characters make bad decisions that make them feel so human. Even if I read mangas as an escape, this one is like a punch in the face with a dose of reality.

This is a pretty depressing read.
The art is beautiful and the story is addicting to read. It dives deep into dark themes and gives a good psychological insight on these women. The main focus is sex work (nothing explicit) but this manga also deals with plastic surgery, self harm, obsession, debt and violence. The story starts of with Yuki but with every arc we gain a new main character, while the others fall into the background. However they are always connected in some kind of way. Some arcs end better than other but don't expect anything happy or satisfying, it's rather realistic. Nobody is perfect and ...

This manga makes the reader feel a lot of things, especially towards women. It explores the life of people related to host clubs, rental girlfriends, sugar babies, and etc. Every character has a different relatable element to them with traumas that many women could probably relate to. Every character's perspective is described and every one of them are flawed but loveable as you see some parts of you in at least one of them. In my opinion, the manga is dark but it's really addicting. Every chapter has me reflecting on my life and hits you with the truth. It shatters the romanticised life
