there’s not much to say but damn i might’ve dropped some tears. this story might seem like a cliche “bestfriend to lover” type but it’s much more. the story is one of those slow burn stories that you can’t put down until you finish it. the story covers some of the real issues many lgbt couples have to face. the art style is amazing and the characters are so well balanced and honestly pretty unique compared to other yaoi mangas. i like how the story isn’t just a basic childhood friends to lover type of deal but it actually shows how the pressures of society ...

I will say yes Kasumi and Kyousuke are childhood friends, which many yaoi mangas tend to have but this one gives the approach of realism. Not something cliche that has the off chance of happening or utterly ridiculous. They struggle through their own hardships of understanding one another, and what society would think of them together which is a hardship in life when dating the same gender.

I do have to say this story is quite short but definitely worth the read. It has a realistic approach, and it doesn't overwhelm you with yaoi scenes. But don't underestimate the feels! Brought a tear to me and ...

From the get-go I felt the pacing of this story and the way it gets to the heart of the character’s personalities was well done. There was a good mixture of show and tell, revealing Kyousuke’s character through his actions (i.e. showing us he’s a hard worker (read: workaholic) and has seemingly high morals through his work at the advertising company) and revealing Kasumi’s character through Kyousuke’s thoughts and feelings.

The conflict between Kyousuke’s morals and Kasumi’s actions and feelings are also apparent from their first interaction on the page, and solidified when they meet again. There are a lot of layers—not only the tension of ...

Mixed Feelings
A long while ago, I tried actually downloading this manga on Netgalley but unfortunately, my stupid kindle tablet wouldn't download the bloody thing for me. That was until I read it today yay lol! Anyways I very much liked the art on this bad boy and really was interested on how it deep dived into each guys life story from when they first met at school. However I felt confused with the uke on how he wants the relationship to continue but yet he wanted to break it off without any reasoning at all? Yeah he said he thought the seme was feeling sorry for ...
