This contains somewhat of spoilers and I’m at chapter 50 as of this review...

The story is about as slow as nisekoi love development so be warned yeah. If you like rom-com mangas then sure this is for you for sure. You got this got guy and girl who are usually in the guy’s apartment room and basically they (mostly the girl) mess with eachother and don’t realize they love eachother because their skulls are about as thick and hard as a rock. Eventually they realized they love eachother later in future chapters which is very slow development. The art/characters is subarashii but not god-tier. Enjoyed ... this manga a good bit, and overall if your okay with slow developing Rom-com then this is for you otherwise just skip it if yo ur not in to that....

Personally, I love this manga, Although the chapters are h]short and it feels like there's a long wait time for new chapters, I thoroughly enjoyed this manga. It may seem like a cliche ripoff of manga like nagataro this manga has certain parts and charms that make it stand out in my opinion.

It starts out with the usual dense MC and a FMC that seems rough and dominating on the outside. As the story progresses though, you see the growth that each character goes through and the interactions transform between the characters.

The reactions from the MC in the later chapters are more reasonable and ... it actually seems like he has gotten used to handling the FMC. the FMC slowly falls deeper in love and it gets harder and harder for her to hide her true feelings.

In a genre that is oversaturated with characters that have the same personality in chapter 50 as they did in chapter 1, this is a great palate cleanser and I feel like this manga does this part well in terms of character growth. (don't expect insane changes though. It's more subtle in how the MC reacts differently.)


The art is a little on the weak side nut character designs are good and the settings are there but there isn't as much of a focus.
The side characters are minimal but when they do show up, they offer for great interactions and situations between the leads.

The weakest part about this series however, is the chapters and the releases. It feels like the chapters are extremely short for the amount of time it takes for a new chapter to release.

Overall, I really enjoyed this series and I often find myself smiling every time I finish a chapter. It's extremely wholesome and enjoyable in my opinion, is worth giving a chance to read.

This was the first rom-com type manga I've read. I started binging it. The art and the environment revolved around is simple yet high quality, the story is fun and relatively easy to follow despite it revolving in a few places. Though I am biased in my review, objectively the romance progression is very tacit and and could be considered slow, but it's no less than entertaining.

Before I knew it I started to root for the characters in this show. Every chapter is relatively short, wholesome, funny and increasingly lovey-dovey the more you read. It has lewd parts too but nothing too extreme.

The only reasons ... I'm not giving 10 out of 10 is:
- I'm stuck waiting for weekly chapters as I'm up to date.
- I finished reading it in less than 48 hours ago since I started.
- I want to punch a wall because of how it makes me feel.

It's really good.

What to expect from this manga;

A simple story of a guy that is an Otaku. Ooyama-kun wants to be alone with his video games and manga. But a girl comes to bother him and raid his private sanctuary. There are typical ecchi tropes. But it is silly and light hearted. That should be taken at face value. Nonetheless, the art and story are simple, because sometimes simple works.

What not to expect from this manga;

It is not a story that has any depth. Or have some sort of deeper meaning, that allows the reader to look at it at introspectively. If you want that, there ... are plenty other manga's and anime that do that, and do it way better.

My small complaints with it;

The small amount of characters in the manga. It could use a few more. Or perhaps flush a little bit more about the other characters. Like for example Akutsu friends. Since the MLC and the FMC tend to be dense, and their own feelings towards each other. It would be nice to have the Akutsu friends point out the obvious and the following to HER PERSONALLY; She is into him. To drive the plot forward. Since love tends to be blind, and it lacks objectivity. A third party is usually needed. The last thing people want, is to have a story with no real romantic development. That is because human nature is compelled towards closure. To put it frank, the author should respect the time of the reader.

Another idea that could work is to have a scene that does not take place in MLC bedroom. Where they could have some sort of hint towards a date but not really? In my experience in real life, relationships do not have any intention of being that way. They just sort of happen. Perhaps they could do it this way? Yet again, I am not the author of this manga. I will leave it to them to choose.

The last thing I would want from this manga is something like an Ecchi Harem and its clichés. I am frankly done with that genre.

This is the type of manga you read if you want to smile like a dumbass.

A very vanilla and sweet romcom that gets sweeter as time goes on. It starts fairly like as if its going to be a oneshot but it soons develop a really sweet story of people who didnt expect to fall in love but did - but now dont know how to tell each other since theyve been so used together. Makes me relive my days of falling in love with my best friend.

Smile like crazy and skip a day to enjoy this heartwarming manga.

(Also unlike other manga which has the ... main girl be perceived as bit problematic *ahem Nagatoro - this one is plain ol goodness fun, and both characters actually like one another (and dare I say already know it but too pussy still))

oh. well I didn't expected to like this one tbh.
I started reading it as I head it was kinda similar to nagatoro. so I bought the first manga. I really did tought the ecchi was too much at first. BUT. I was curious.. something got me thinking. So I got the second one. Little did I knew, I was to impatient to wait vol.3 official translation to release so I went to mangadex and here I am now.. read all 155.5 chapters.

This one is unique and the female antagonist's growth is just pure awesomeness. If you didn't liked the first vol, read the second one ... and you will start LOVING it.

A must for romcom or romance lovers!

Why you might not like this manga: ecchi, gals portrayed as stupid or delinquent, story not yet completed and new chapters are slow to be translated.

Why you would like this manga: If you like tsundere girls, gal x otaku love stories, lots of (mild?) ecchi, high school rom-coms, cute and funny side characters...

Despite the irritating delinquency of Riko, and the unflattering focus on her laziness, her crush on Ooyama is adorable, and the eventual progress in their romance provides satisfaction for the reader looking for love. The side characters, including parents, all serve as a chorus or stand-ins for the reader, and sometimes provide ... some serious humor and help the plot to move along.

Kaette Kudasai! is a silly, fun, cute high school rom-com. It is a pleasant escape that will not strain your brain but will make you smile and look forward to the next chapter.
