Synopsis

Let's face it—civilization as we know it is dependent on computers. And hackers take full advantage of this. But ne0's a hacker for good! Together with his tough guy partner Daigo, they take on the bad guys by hacking or old-fashioned skull cracking!

Background

As part of the JUMP START initiative, the first three chapters of Ne0;lation were published in English in VIZ Media's digital Weekly Shounen Jump on the same day as the Japanese release. It was simulpub in English through MANGA Plus. The volumes were published digitally in English under the Shonen Jump imprint from March 24, 2020 to July 28, 2020.

if you want to read this, prepared to be completely and utterly blueballed. honestly, i think the series had a lot of potential and definitely could've reached its full potential with time, but it got cancelled and had a super abrupt ending leaving me with very little satisfaction.

the characters and the story honestly had great potential -i truly believe this could've been amazing- but i can see why it ended since the plot was taking a while to get started up and was becoming repetitive. BUT IT COULD'VE BEEN SO GOOD UGH.

As of right now Ne0;lation has 11 chapters, if you can manage to get yourself to look past the first few chapters Ne0;lation is actually somewhat entertaining.

The characters, mainly Ne0 himself and his new friend Minai, have a really nice dynamic and are both actually quite interesting. Yukko is rather ditzy and cute but she's also really fun! Gevaudan is probably the most interesting and intriguing of the lot, I'm excited to see where they go with him and his motives.

As I said though, the first maybe 3 or 4 chapters are slow and a bit painful to read. After that the story seems to ...

I've read most of what's been released until now. It's not downright awful, but its bad. The backgrounds of the characters shown (like Daigo or whatever) are kind-of interesting but the storytelling is poor.The tone of the manga seems to appeal to a younger audience but a wrench is thrown into it when it tries to touch on certain topics so its hard to tell if its trying to engage multiple audiences, a single type, or just doesn't know who this manga is for.
