Berserk of Gluttony is one of those stories where it is filled with power after power fantasy which eventually extends into numbers after numbers of power level.

Anyways, this one is a good read. Storywise, character wise, artwise is good, but of course, do not expect masterclass writing when it comes to the plot and characters. It is a manga that you can enjoy while it lasts, sufficient enough that some may some to call it amazing, and personally speaking, I won't and can't judge them as in a way, I could relate too.

If your onto power fantasy, such as orv, solo leveling, etc, give the ... manga a shot.

Oh and there's a manhua remake of this as well. Perhaps give that a shot too!

Definitely an 8/10.

Story 7/10:
The reason I gave the story a 7/10 is that it felt rushed at times; it sometimes just skipped significant parts - at least, so it felt - of the story, and we suddenly ended up in a different place. Besides that happening, I read the manga within three days, and I did enjoy it enough that I want to keep reading it.

Art 8/10: I might be a bit biased when it comes to art, but I'm someone who doesn't care about the art style. That said, this manga has some magnificent fighting scenes with some fantastic effects. It isn't quite a nine yet, ... because I've seen better art style; when it comes to the surroundings, they were left out a lot of the time, only the characters were displayed in the shot.

Characters 6/10: I don't know what I felt, but I wouldn't say I liked it. The characters felt generic and not unique. I did enjoy the characters, but the MC wasn't developing; his character stayed the same. The concept that they used with greed, gluttony was fun but also a tiny bit generic. Besides that, the character that has the best development and likable character is Myne. Something about her is mysterious, and we don't know who she is.

Enjoyment 7/10: Enough about the art style or the characters, I found this series quite enjoyable to read. I have not read many mangas when writing this review, but I'm pretty picky. It's a fun manga that you can read within three days or less. It keeps you reading with the plot twists, and a lot of things are unknown and vague, which is really interesting.

It's a fun manga, and I recommend you give it a try. :)

Generic with a capital "G." The enemies are so boring and you start to lose interest in all of the characters eventually. The only redeeming feature is that it's a somewhat okay power fantasy because there are impressive displays of magic and the art isn't bad.

Everything begins and ends with the protagonist gaining power. Everything in the story, what little there is, is to literally and figuratively feed his power. The writer seems to realize this towards chapter 37, and justifies it by literally making the MC say "I'm different because I have friends to stop me", but by this time I had no interest ... in any of the characters because they weren't developed, just pawns to move the MC around.

The enemy encounters are never fun because all of the battles are solved by pulling some BS power surge out of nowhere. There are no rules to the MC's powers, despite the story centering around and insisting that there are. There is no strategy to any of the battles.
