Kanami used to live a happy life. A normal family with a kind, older brother. This changed when her parents died in a car accident. Her once kind brother became cold and cruel, she started being bullied for not having parents at school, and distant relatives tried to take advantage of her and her brother for their inheritance money.

By pure coincidence, she meets a young man who sees her crying alone at a park. After talking with him, he offers, "Hey, why don't you rent me?"

This is the story of Kanami, as her involvement with her rental big brother helps her become a better person as well as help her reach her goal of getting along with her biological brother again.

Rental Oniichan is a web manga released on the author's Twitter and pixiv accounts since April 8, 2017, and published in print by Square Enix since March 22, 2018.

Avoid this manga at all cause if tour are looking for a realistic portrayal of abuse and forgiveness.

I wasnt planning of writing a review yet the only one here is a possitive one, Who can lead to people to read this non sense.

Story 1/10

This manga is the worse attempt of disfuntional family dinamincs ever wrote , is full of plot holes even the time jumps doesnt make sense, everything here is wrote in a way that is obviously to attempt to make you cry, thats the whole point, cheap drama to make you cry, even if the actions of all the cast read more

The manga is about a girl who got abused and wants her brother back. From the start the manga made me feel sad and made me feel like I was in the situations. The characters have development relatively quickly and the ending is satisfying. The art is decent it's good but nothing too amazing. Some of the chapters art were messed up but It wasn't that big of a deal as I could clearly see what was supposed top be depicted. Overall I recommend reading this to anyone and I thoroughly enjoyed this manga since chapter 1. I would rate this read more

“To know the nature of despair and to triumph over it in the ways that are possible to oneself is surely a sort of grace.”
- Donald Keene

Is it alright to forgive those who have severely trespassed us in the past? Is it alright to continue to love someone when you can only play bystander as they're hurting deeply right before your eyes? Does one's past ever truly explain or excuse their actions?

I've mostly decided to write this review since no one else had left one, and was also very taken aback by this manga. I initially heard about this in passing conversation on read more
