Reviewing things, especially manga is not something I'm very good at but I will give it my best! This will be spoiler-free.

Renzu-sou no Sankaku is a fairly simple story. There are no crazy twist and turns and I would say overall it's pretty average. This is not to say that I didn't get any enjoyment out of the read, it was just that, everything that happened was very predictable. If you are brand new into manga as I am, I think it's a nice little story. But if you've read lots of manga, I think you will feel extremely underwhelmed ... with everything.

I'm newer to reading manga so I am just starting out with some shorter romance ones (thats my jam with anime so why not for manga!) and Love in Focus was such a BEAUTIFUL story! I do wish there was more to it and it went a little deeper, but it was still a precious story with no 'filler' moments and it was an easy read.
Characters still had growth despite it being a shorter story.
The art is pretty and had some killer shots, but overall just nothing new or crazy about it.
MC is a bit of a ditz BUT there is an actual ... reason behind it...and she grows past it.
Overall its a really charming manga, if you like school age romance manga you gotta check it out! Even if you don't like it... it's only 3 volumes so its a breeze to read!

Love is Focus is a straightforward romance with a typical high school love triangle. I read the story expecting this and I came out with an enjoyable, lighthearted, and cute experience.

Regarding the love triangle. It's incredibly obvious who she is ending up with from the get-go. Though I do feel like the drama was a little bit unnecessary. I guess the drama was more one-sided than anything.

The art is gorgeous, I found myself observing the characters every so often. These are some cute boys not gonna lie.

The photography theme for this story feels sort of like a gimmick. It just serves as ... a base development for the majority of the cast having the same interests. It's not a particular issue, though I wish there was a bit more of the photography aspect weaved into the story.

Lucas' secret though, that caught me off guard.

I saw this manga as I was browsing some bookshelves and thought it would be a cute and unique story. Yes, it was cute; the protagonist has a cute little love story. She discovers what love is through some dramatic interactions shown in some beautifully drawn scenes and had a satisfying ending... I guess (more on that later).
Yes, it was unique... but only in the sense that photography was involved. Honestly, that was the only reason I bought the books because I love photography myself, but it didn't really spice anything up all that much. The photography theme is very important to the progression of ... the story, sure, but it still just didn't make it feel that much more special than a normal romance story, at least to me.
Something that is a little disappointing to me is that early from the start of the story, you can pretty much take an educated guess who this girl is gonna get with and you won't be wrong about it (sorry if that ruins it once you start reading it). The story doesn't make you get on the edge of your seat in anticipation or make you wonder what is gonna happen. I think it doesn't have as much excitement as other love stories in the manga/anime biz.
The characters are all likable but you don't learn much about them, only a little stuff important in the current scene to progress the story. It's only three volumes (sixteen chapters) though, so I can understand why not much information was given and I'm probably just being too critical because I really like deep, interesting characters.
After finishing, it... well... it didn't seem finished. That's why I THINK the ending was satisfying. It was a happy, romantic ending that any romance story lover would want, only, it felt like it could've been better. Despite all that, it was still enjoyable to read and I don't regret buying it. I loved the art style and theme, plus it was just relaxing and made me feel good afterward. It did leave me wanting more but I suppose it might be possible to have too much of a good thing...
So, if you like good 'ole, cute romance with a different theme intermixed (don't expect much else entirely different though) then this manga is a read for you.

I'm going to be as fair as I can be here, considering Yoko Nogiri is one of my favorite Mangaka.

This series is pretty good. It's three volumes long, the art is pure eye candy, and the love interests are interesting and quite handsome. But if you're anything besides a person brand-new to this kind of manga, you've probably seen this story before. Girl with way more heart than brains gets involved in a love-triangle with the quirky brown-haired guy and reclusive dark-haired guy. And you have a 99% chance of knowing who she's going to end up with. There are some bumps here and ... there, and I'm glad everyone had a chance to voice their feelings on each other.

This is why I love it. This is why I adore these stories.

You can turn your brain off and enjoy some silly over-dramatic romance between two gorgeous guys who have no real reason to be in love with the girl, and slowly (very slowly, mind you) figure out their feelings and address her directly. At least in this series main girl figures out who she truly likes a but earlier than others. But if I really like it, why did I rate it a 7? Well, I really enjoyed it, but in the grand scheme of things, it isn't very special. Would I recommend it? Of course! Especially if you're new to shoujo. You'll probably get a ton out of this.

Oh yeah, I liked the whole photography thing. Photos are cool.

Tl;dr: A fun. silly (not to mention short) romance series that has likable love interests but doesn't have too many new ideas.

Renzu-sou no Sankaku is a pretty simple and straightforward romance shoujo, with many of the tropes and clichés common in this genre, but still enjoyable if you like those kinds of stories.

The story is about Mochizuki Mako, an oblivious and kindhearted girl, a typical shoujo protagonist, and the guys who fall for her, Akahoshi Kei and Amemura Mitsuru. Kei is Mako's osananajimi, he is a reliable and protective guy who will always be there for her when she needs him, and it's clear from the beginning that he holds in romantic feelings for Mako, as they have known each other since long ago. Amemura is ... somewhat the opposite of Kei, he is gloomy, introverted and meek, and different from Kei, he has no feelings for Mako when the manga starts, but develops it as the story goes on. They are both handsome and have their own assets. The 3 of them live in the same boarding house, where all the students practice photography. This is a major theme in the story, as all the characters have some kind of relationship with photography, but the story doesn't really dig deep into it, and it feels like just a tool for the setting.

The story was concise, without wasting chapters with fillers and making it longer than it needs to be. I liked the characters and how the romance developed, all the characters are likeable and have their moments to expose their feelings and thoughts, and the romance scenes were really cute. The art is good, but nothing outstanding. I think this manga is an above average shoujo, with an enjoyable story and good characters, but still doesn't stray far from a typical story of this genre. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a plain but entertaining romance, without expecting many twists, knowing it's still a standard shoujo at the end of the day.

I like the main character a lot Yoko Norigiri makes her main characters alike in personalities this was one of my favorite books she wrote it has a very good name for it also, the main character in the story is a girl who wants to be a photographer like her grandpa shes on her way to a childhood friends house when she sees a guy playing with a dog she enjoys the sight so much she decided to take a photo the boy notices and she runs away, that's the start to the book there are moments in it that make you feel warm ... and moments that make you feel embarrassed if you're looking to read a short romance manga that's really cute i recommend!

looking at the art it's very nice the smiles that the characters do in this manga make me so happy also the animals! so cute! the backgrounds are nice, the characters are cute

talking about characters the first one I'm going to talk about is the main character she's very nice and outgoing i really look up to her! and she takes very good photos!
Her childhood friend is cool he's like hmm it's hard to explain but i think he's very nice when it comes to it!
the other guy the girl took a picture of ( i don't wanna spoil anything) i would say he's a shy guy who doesn't talk much is very caring and cute!

I was looking for something short, wholesome, light and airy that would put a smile on my face. But I didn't want the regular cheesy teenagers falling in love. I wanted something more. This manga sure served it.

I really enjoyed how relatable all the characters were. The calm atmosphere while still keeping it intriguing. The fun cute *fuwa fuwa* moments. Most of all I loved the camera-element. As an amateur photographer myself I found this aspect very interesting, inspiring and motivating.

Even though the manga was short, I still feel like I got to know each character. Sometimes a wholesome and cute slice of ... life is what you need.

Love in Focus is a simple manga. It's a light read and you could definitely finish it in one sitting. The female lead's personality all boils down to her love for photography, there isn't anything else about her that's interesting. My biggest issue with this manga is the fact that the author didn't dive deep enough into the thoughts and reasons behind a character's actions. I'm not saying they didn't dive in at all, but more effort could've gone into it. Had the story been longer, maybe it would've been better. I can't even tell how or why the main couple fell for each other. ... The side characters apart from Mako's childhood friend did not add ANY value to the plot. In fact, one character is labeled as Mako's best friend despite them just a few chapters ago, and not even interacting at all except maybe once or twice in the entire story! I can't really pinpoint anything above average in this manga except for the art. So you may be wondering, "Should I even read it at all?" Yes and no. If you just need to kill time and don't mind what you're reading as long as it's not painfully boring—yes go ahead, just note it's not something that would stay in most people's hearts forever. If you're looking for something good, then I think you should pass. All in all, I found the read to be enjoyable despite this review being negative.
