I have a large list of manga's that I plan to read. While I search for the right one, I usually spend a lot of time picking a manga, but this time I just randomly picked it and immediately started reading. I didn't have any expectations so it is hard to say how I feel about it. it has really solid moments, some feelings of characters are really well writen, and some aspects of the manga can actually compare to the high class manga, but still I wouldn't say that it is strong. Characters I would say are really bland even though their emotions at ... moments are conveyed really well. It has interesting consept that had a good potential but I don't think it went the right way. This manga is short but was not an easy read, at some moments it was, but at others it was really boring. what I would say is, that the art is sometimes really great but sometimes even art was a bit empty I guess?

Story (6/10)
Story had a potential as I've said, it had good aspects, but it was sometimes so boring that you would get lost, and completely don't understan who is on which side and what is happening, (not all the times) there was one moment that I didn't understand it was chapter 20.5 the additional chapter I guess, where somehow that one guy is surrounded and on the next chapters it is forgotten, and you would think that maybe it was a foreshadowing, but that moment was never brought up, so yeah,

Art (8/10)
It was very well drawn at points, but at others it was kinda unsophisticated, the artstyle wasn't really unique but still really great job on that.

Characters (5/10)
Well yeah. characters were not great, some of them had potential, but they were still pretty bland, main character was not bad, but still nothing out of ordinary.

Enjoyment (6/10)
I know I am repeating myself, and again there were some strong moments, that caught your interest, but most of them were pretty boring, especially the second part. I would say I didn't enjoy the manga, but it was not an easy read.

Yeah Overall score arithmetic is not even close to 5.4 I know, but I am not judgin manga only on those four aspects, only during a review I focus on the main details. Overall uhh.... I guess if you are into idk black mirror? you kinda might enjoy it, it has a really interesting concept but nothing special.

A rushed manga ... That's what I felt with the ending of Mushoku Kyousei Shuuyoujo. A manga that loses at several points, but delivers something different than normal.

1 - Story [7/10] - the best point of the manga without a doubt, however, does not mean that it was exemplary. Problems like too much rush, or too little development of certain characters, I felt it all while reading this manga. And something in the manga probably must have bothered 100% of those who decided to read until the end, and it all started from chapter 10, where something unusual happens in the manga, the break of ... expectation, throwing all the hype of the story at the bottom of the hole. .. Particularly, I did not hate the choice of the author, but I bet most would be upset.

2 - Art [5/10] - I can't say if art is not my style, or if it really isn't all that ... What I mean is that, I didn't really like art, but it doesn't seem to be " bad ", the art itself is something I don't have to complain about, I just didn't find a point of prominence, or something that saves the manga, is it worth reading for the art? I would say no.

3 - Character [4/10] - Well, at this point I have to complain. The author made a choice that was not worth it for me, not to develop characters, sometimes it seems that he decides to tell stories of the characters, but it seems that this only becomes more complementary to the story, I feel that the only one really developed was the MC, on top of that, I didn't like his ending ... Anyway, it may be annoying, but I believe that you will not gain any compassion for the characters.

4 - Enjoyment [6/10] - Okay, at that point I think you should read this manga. While reading the manga, I asked myself why I still read it, I came to a conclusion: The action is very good! The clashes are great, and in combination with the complicated storyline, the manga can grab you until the end if you like the style.

Overall - Most manga will drop this manga as it gets closer to the end, because of its ignorant and complicated story. In fact, several negative points do not make a good story, the rushed ending only contributed to a less attractive one for the majority of the public. Try to read it and find a reason to finish it, otherwise it is better not to continue.

I really liked the initial premise of this manga, it was interesting enough. It starts out in a way that makes you think it's going to be a typical survival horror series full of edge and nihilism. It kind of is, but it veers off into a more survival guerilla plot that banks on action and thrills, it was good while it lasted.

Up until the halfway point things just start to go off the rails, shit happens for the sake of shit happening and the plot goes from coherent and followable to stupid M Night tier plot twists that are easily guessed. It's very ... disappointing and even though the final chapter is a whopping 100+ pages long and quadruple the length of the standard chapters so far it absolutely steam rolls through the plot for stupid plot twists that leave you bitter and unpleased. The entire conclusion is skipped over in the very last pages of the chapter.

It does not help that the final chapter is spent on some old codger monologueing and moaning at the MC, some dude we literally do not know of until that final chapter.

It's just ass, completely ruined anything it had going for it.
