Both have: - a ruthless vigilante protagonist - an eccentric, heroic antagonist detective who works with the police - mind games and battle of wits between the two

Both series are set in England during the 1800's, both main characters are smart (though Moriarty is a genius) and work in similar ways even if it's for different reasons. The MC are both nobles and have a history with burning mansions, and th artwork in both series is beautiful (well Kuroshitsuji could have been better in the begining).

Both manga featured a theme of change the world or society though unconventional method.which somehow make you thinking and questioned either that method was actually right or wrong.

Similar dynamics and themes as well as switched character designs. The save me/catch me if you can/ I gave you my word theme

A manga and a manhwa, both situated in the 19th century in England. Two mystery-filled stories with Sherlock Holmes and Watson on the background, behind the main characters who on first sight are evil (murderers). <> Yuukoku no Moriarty has the cat-and-mouse game concept, Hell Blade does not (as much) <> Hell Blade is supernatural, Yuukoku no Moriarty isn't.

Showing dark period of ancient England, flowered with (might or might not necessarily) pretty ikemens. - Both have a lot of flower symbolism (if you squint hard enough) - Contains mxm dynamics, some platonics, some others are blatantly clear - Interesting MC angle

Both Are historical Murder mysteries. They Both tackle Transgender themes. They also contain very manipulative main characters.

Both are mystery series about a kooky yet brilliant masters of deduction and a kind "straight-man" solving mysteries for the local police. Both are (more importantly) related to the original Sherlock Holmes IP and are all about the thrill of solving crimes. Both have great art, but Kamonohashi Ron has more comedy in it compared to Moriarty the Patriot, and MtP is a tad darker and more dramatic as it's from the perspective of the "villain," but if you're looking for some more Sherlock Holmes-based manga to read, this is a good contender!

Both have a morally ambiguous mastermind anti-hero for a protagonist. In both, he uses questionable means to fight for his goals.

Mostly I recomend this series because of it's similar atmosphere. Serious with a lot of depth and look inside the horrible minds of people. In Liar Game you get to see how far people are ready to go for their own greed and self-satisfaction, much like the nobles in Yuukoku no Moriarty. Another thing you might like about Liar Game is the genius of Akiyama that is on pair with L or Lelouch, or William James Moriarty.

The smart 'evil' genius. Both series have a MC that does bad for the sake of good and got quite the heavy atmosphere at times. But don't let that scare you away. IU also have quite a few fun and loving moments among the depths of the story and I'm 87% sure you will love the serie.

Both have similar settings and very elegantly drawn male characters. Both have strong themes of mystery, dark plot points and compelling narratives.

Protagonist in Sayonara Sorcier has a goal of 'fixing' the art industry which is strictly ruled by aristocracy making it impossible for just anyone to become and artist and sell their art. Basically the concept is very similar to the one in moriarty, both series' protagonists want to break out some unfair systems from the inside.
