The concept for this manga is a fun one. Although it has been done in the past, probably many a time. Machines take over society, the last humans fight back. It is original enough in the details to make it a fun read. It feels like an action movie plot and it wraps up like an action movie would. perhaps a little to quickly and neatly. If you want a quick read between chapters of longer heavier stuff, you won't have a bad time, but don't expect too much out of this one.
The characters feel like action movie tropes. Bad ass chick a-la Resident
...
Evil(the movies) or Underworld(y'all remember that one?), Some soldier fodder, with a bad ass leader Vin Diesel type, some scientists who f'ed up the planet. Very standard stuff. No real character development, they are their trope and they stay that way.
The art is fine. I like to do some art now and again, and I'm down with using reference, everyone does it. This takes it a bit far though. The lead soldier isn't just a "Vin Diesel" type, he's actually Vin Diesel. Like, that was drawn over a picture of Vin Diesel. Those covers are nice, the protag looks good, but they are sketched over pictures or screencaps. It's a shame because the artists are clearly skilled, but it really takes you out when you are trying to figure out what actress that is. Probably the chick from Underworld.
It helps with the action movie vibe I guess?
Over all very mid tier all around, nothing offensive, nothing spectacular. I read it in about 2-3 hours so perfect action movie length.
It's pretty hard to keep up with the Miuras and Boichis and Muratas so I don't blame them for cheating just a bit.
