Every now and then, a piece of media connects with you in a way that’s hard to put into words, and for me, that was "Baan." I went in not knowing what to expect, but I left feeling genuinely moved.
The film has this incredible, personal atmosphere that makes you feel every moment. You can sense the heart that was poured into every single second of it. The English dub was perfect, the music was beautiful, and Kevin Penkin's score was absolutely phenomenal.
Beyond just being a beautiful film, it's so deeply motivating to see Garnt's dream come to life.

yup agree too , the other day I saw someone give Dan da Dan a 4 I was like damn I think beside of the Gundam parody not really my fave arc I dun think that anime deserved a 4 ..

It wasn't like i was sobbing or anything, but I never expected to get teary eyed watching this.

The protagonist was way too relatable and the feelings of wanting to leave home, experience new things, not be a burden to your parents and finding your own place while still wanting to hold on to what you know and love is all too familiar.

Shed some very unexpected tears. Hats off to Gigguk. I knew it wouldnt be bad, but had no idea it would be this good.

Unrelated to this post, but don't reply to the quotes that are attacking you if you really don't like AOT.
Cause calling AOT mid is a war crime and No "Subjective" taste can be this bad to recognise the impact of AOT over how anime is being perceived today.
