So In episode 7 they say that they are going to get to the rail gun thingy in 9 minutes and say that it's 1000km away which is 1.8 km/s like how many gs of force would it be and would they all have died immediately when it started accelerating

It says 100 km in the novel, so ~666 km/h. Its reference, the Ekranoplan KM reached 550 km/h. Also, the Morpho firing range is "only" 400 km

I just looked up the calculations and a human has survived higher gs than this would produce but not by much

That’s good to know, not that I would have complained regardless, after all it’s an opera of fiction, tho it’s always appreciated to have it close to reality.

If you think about it, for example, the Shinkansen L0 Series will operate at a maximum speed of 500 km/h, so a little bit more should be still safe for common people. But they are soldiers, so I think they can bear way more than that. Much like F1 pilots

Not attacking you but I feel like I should point this out. That 500 km/h is speed not acceleration. Which is why the comparison doesn't work. As with relatively tolerable acceleration the human body can survive any number of high speeds. The problem is when the human body is experiencing high acceleration(aka high number of Gs) while reaching those high speeds.
