From what I know they usually release a volume around the time chapters start officially releasing again to attempt to boost sails, so you can base it off of that if you want. Also, he posts on twitter like every day giving updates, seems like he has around 10 chapters done and at least another 5 in progress. SJ moved him from weekly so that he can work on his health as well as on his own schedule, so I would assume he just works as much as he can until he can’t anymore, they release what he has, he takes a break and then they repeat. Either that or he makes a volumes worth of chapters, they release it, and then repeat that again. Fingers crossed we get more hxh soon, but more importantly fingers crossed Togashi’s health improves as much as possible

I love this manga but I’m starting to get tired of the publish 10 chapters and a new volume, and dip for 1-2 years minimum, thing he’s got going. I understand Togashi’s situation as well as his pride in his work, but I think it’s fair to get frustrated as a fan as well.

it would be better just to have an Anime szn 2/a sequel there is ebough material out there. this 5 chapters every 2-3 is boring. the drwing sucks so he shouöd just focus on writing and let her wife draw

Yes!! (Also, it's so funny that the release date is only a few days from September 1st). I'm happy to be getting at least something. I really hope Hunter x Hunter has a few more arcs and gets finished. I hope Togashi's health gets better.

HxH 2011 covered 350 chapters in 150 episodes.
There are only 50 "new" chapters to adapt. I wouldn't say that's enough. No way in heck they would do a 12+ episode season just to leave again for 15 years. Not happening.

the 2011 Anime had 2,29 ch per eps. there are 61 ch left so it is more enough for 25/26 eps. it will take another 5 to 10 years till he finish this arc so why let ppl wait?

I disagree with the amount of episodesil it would take. Any more than 18 is stretching things.
Anyway, 18 or 25 they won't make an anime for that knowing that the next anime wouldn't come for 20 years at Togashis pace.

I won't say never but it's highly unlikely.

Can't wait to buy Vol 38 when it gets an English release. I own every volume of HxH, and been collecting the volumes for 10 years now since I'm a huge fan. Hoping the manga hiatus ends soon too. Hopefully this is a sign that chapter 401 will be released soon.

I hope the anime comes back. Even if there are only 61 chapters that haven't been adapted yet, it's still been almost 10 years since the 2011 anime ended. But they're probably waiting until there's 100 chapters that haven't been adapted yet before they bring the show back.

@DayRivia Not to mention where would they leave it off? With Kacho's death? There's no good place to leave it off without it just coming to a grinding halt. The anime can't come back until this arc is done, which who knows if it'll even FINISH with all the subplots and characters on this boat
