I know a lot of people say Makoto power is from Tsukimichi. I really don't think that's true. Makoto parents is from the Goddess world. So even if Makoto from Earth, his genetics from a world capable of using magic. When he learned to use a bow, he also at the same time learn how to expand his mana pool. In the first season when he was practicing the bow to calm his nerves Tomue and Mio thought he was killing himself and bringing himself back to life only discover his mana pool increased from every shot. So over the years on Earth when he did focus training for his bow he was also making himself more powerful. The gift that Tsukimichi probably gave him was the ability turn spell casting into instant cast or just abilities. What do you think?

all his magic and strenght were his to begin with, Tsukimichi gave him the Kai, wich is a power unrelated to mana and unique to the mc so far.
it has mutliple functionalities from perception, healing, barrier, magic managment etc.
worth noting is that these skill is imune to a major flaw the godness blessings have, it cant be canceled.
enemies of this isekai have sometimes the power to cancel blessings gifted by her but when struck with one of those negations the mc was completely normal.

also what tsukimichi said at the beggining was that the mc HAD latent magic that couldnt use in the human world, that doesn't mean all humans have the same dormant power insode and could go crazy crazy on the other world, if u look at the heroes they re not anything special just because they are humans, that prob derives from mc being son of 2 great adventurers.

@Alex_the_reaper What I was figuring. Since Earth doesn't have magic, Makoto could not use it. He was unknowingly expanding his mana pool with what meditation he learned from using a bow. Tsukimichi, when he brought Makoto to the Goddess world, opened up his ability to use magic and gave the ability Kai as a gift. I tend to overthink things.

yeah, Makoto power is his own compounded and amplified by being born and living on earth that lack magic and atmosphere is heavier than the world his parents are from. tsukuyomi said as he stopped Makoto from free falling to the planet after the goddess banished him to the wasteland that he would survive the fall no problem he gave Makoto the Kai ability as an apology for the goddess rude behavior.

plus it his magic not Kai that he increasing with his archery practice and it why the the level scroll can't judge his level at all so it reads as 1 he that overpowered

@Paladin23 he is level 1 because the dying he does during his archery practice resets his level. I also think level is more like experince you rack up from killing Monsters and doesn't technically represent anyones true Power.

I came here to ask about this and I feel like this hits most of what I was wondering but I don't think it solves why the other heroes don't at least have his great physical strength too or at least don't seem to.

The magic you could explain as them not being born with it like he was even if he couldn't use it on Earth. The the raw physical strength you'd expect them to share and IIRC he's supposed to be insanely strong physically too.

Makoto's parents are originally from that world, so he inherited being able to use magic from them. Tsukimichi explained that gravity is lighter there than it is on Earth, so Makoto and the 2 heroes are stronger than most people because of it. Earth is deprived of mana reason why he couldn't use it there.

@Moppit I mentioned that he was born with magic use but couldn't use it on Earth. But I guess the rest is just that I didn't get the impression of "otherworldly" physical strength from the 2 heroes, however, that could be because it's not really shown or it's not nearly as extreme as his magic which has been the main focus for a long time.

@CalorieEnchilada I'm guessing he got good genes from his parents(thought not The looks) and that's why he was also chosen to be The hero at first. Also he was probably somewhat fit unlike atleast Tomoki as he was a proficient archer.

@Jipsi Makoto was chosen because of a deal Makoto's parents made with the Goddess. Makoto's parents knew one day she was going to collect, so at a young age, Makoto and his siblings learn stuff like martial arts and archery, so they can survive in the new world. A lot of this can be learned from season one, especially from Tsukimichi in episode one. If Makoto didn't go, one of his sisters would have been chosen.

@Moppit Oh I forgot. But the archery training what he was made to do still probably made him quite strong relatively and a little difference would probably turn into a huge one when power is scaled up
