Vanpire girl then cat girl!!!

I just love Vampire girl's character development!!!

From wanting to die then being able to be optimistic in a hopeless timeline to finally accepting on living with Araragi normally despite how powerful she is!!!

Cat girl is basically Misaki 2.0 which is one of the most realistic characters in terms of personality for me!!!

hanekawa, her story really resonates with me and i love her character journey. also love her design and feel like she has the most variance in looks between styles other than shiobu, having the cat form black hanekawa, short haired hanekawa, braid and glasses hanekawa, and her final form short haired striped hanekawa love her

Haven't started the third season so this could change, but either Senjougahara, Hachikuji or Shinobu, they're both pretty versatile characters who can do both witty banter scenes with Araragi and legitimately touching emotional moments. After that I'd put Hanekawa because I felt she was quite deep as a character even if she couldn't do the light-hearted scenes quite as well, Kanbaru because she's somewhat relatable (I also like Senjougahara and yaoi), Yostugi because she's pretty boring, the fire sisters because I didn't care for them and finally Nadeko because while I find her an interesting character I also hate her.

I'd say shinobu first,
then hanekawa,
then hachikuji.

Idk shinobu is perfect in everyway in my personal opinion and her story as a whole was the most cute and precious at the end if it all. Like she didn't value life anymore so she wanted to die. But Araragis selfish actions payed off and had her end up enjoying the life and chance to live and be normal as a whole because well araragi showed her. Idk I'm a sucker for that kindve shi where a character from another world is shown the value in normal life and being accepted n stuff so her resolution was the most satisfying for me personally. And she's just so cool cute and badass like omg. definitely my #1

then hanekawa because her journey from (If you watch it chronically) kizumonogatari to the end there's a massive shift in her vibe that makes her feel less of araragis viewpoint of her but to the viewers viewpoint of her. Her story and journey throughout felt such a joy sitting through personaly and she at least takes the cake for best developed character (more ways then one *cough* *cough*). And her personality has come off as normal everyday girl and idk there ended up being something so human about her.

Then we have hachikuji in were she just takes this 3rd spot because her presence is immaculate. I love seeing her just there and chat with araragi and how she just lives walking around. Her character is very funny and I like very funny characters but her commitment to Araragi is the most cutest thing ever. And omg to avoid spoilers but on that scene I realized how much she meant to me because I nearly actually cried. I don't cry to anime or really any media to me so uh that spoke volumes to me.

But yea honostly all girls are great I could right paragraphs on all of them but these were my preffered top 3.

Hachikuji is by far my favorite character in the series. She's pretty underrated when it comes to the fandom as I do believe is she is very mature & her dialogue (apart from her banter with Araragi) are always interesting & fascinating to hear. She's always present when Araragi feels he's at a crossroads & never fails to give Araragi the guidance he needs.
