| I swear this man can’t help himself and communicates his affection through touch. He never touches anyone except Anne and he is always embracing her, placing his hand on hers, kissing her, etc. Even the way he responded to her stroking his wing. It’s so sweet. I don’t know if he realizes the depth of his feelings yet but it’s so obvious he is in love with her! i just wanted to note that Challe is prob way over 100yrs old and Anne is 15...
But lets be honest, its Anime none of that rly matters ;P (the age gap its only a stop in real life cause it means the older half could be manipulating the younger one for s*xual purposes whit clearly is not the case in this pure fellings fairy-tale)
Still the show has a romance tag and they quite literally kissed already idk what they consider themselves but im sure the "friends" ir "companions" ended quite a long time ago

But even if he was 100 years older than her, it’s not like he’s an “old man” and he’s always been completely appropriate with her and has vowed to always protect her. His affection and loyalty are genuine. He has kissed her but not in the way we want to see it yet… it doesn’t count until it’s romantic and on the lips! Ahhh, I’m swooning over here. I just can’t wait to see it all blossom. 😍 |

| That's just the author's bait for their targeted audience, a trope that's been caricatured to the high heavens, and obviously people have been hooked, lined and sinked. S1 was garbage, so I'm assuming S2 has been more of the same. Props to you, if you're still watching lol |

| @GakutoDeathGlare All genres and tropes lure certain groups of people, what’s wrong with that? I watch so many different types, and I do mean all types of anime! I’m not a snob nor need everything to be an intellectual dissection of never-before seen artistic masterpiece to enjoy it. I watch anime to escape reality and feel things… and I feel good when I watch sweetness and wholesomeness from this show from time to time. Let people enjoy things! |

| I was so preoccupied with other things in this anime(silver sugar and red fairy stuff) that I haven't thought about it lately. Challe's affection for Anne is indeed so sweet! nevermoreHOAR said: I'm with you on that!I’m in love with them, I hope they share their feelings sooner than later. |
