| I think what they are trying to show is Kaguya Sama is not just fun and jokes Universe. When Shirogane and Kaguya are doing there shenanigans somebody out there is getting murdered, depressed and facing problems. |

I think a lot of fans just don't care (I'm not one of them, the second half of Kaguya is one of the biggest drops in quality I've ever seen a manga have). Let's just say it's incredibly depressing to go from being a mega fan to not really caring about the series anymore. As for them being in the same universe. The author already alluded to the Kaguya characters being the reincarnation of characters from the bamboo cutter (this is only in an extra bonus page in the 5th volume of the manga, but never explicitly stated by the story). So the supernatural element is just a part of the universe. |

| I think it's a harmless cool detail. imagine if oshi no ko got a kaguya cameo, it wouldn't affect the plot, but that kind of fanservice is genuinely heart warming to see for the fans |
