I just feel bad for him, the only thing he cared about was Fushi’s well-being.
He just wanted to help and then the knocker came and ruined everything.
A scene that really made me sad was where he stands alone in the forest and starts crying.
God, Kahaku really didn’t deserve to end like this. Nothing that happend was his fault, it was primarily the knocker
who was using him. I feel like he should have been at Fushi’s side, celebrating the victory, instead of carrying that damn thing with him. I absolutely hate that knocker.

Kahaku deserved everything he got even before the nokker attacked fushi he was an attempted rapist just like his ancestor and was annoyingly obsessed with him and tried to claim ownership. Nobody there liked him except MAYBE fushi

Kahaku is clearly obsessed with Fushi, he claims it's love but is an obsession, just like his ancestors
He tried to be better but ultimately failed and accepted that he wasn't wanted nearby fushi

You and me both! Kahaku was a good person who got dealt a bad hand - he was Hayase's ancestor and on top of it had a nokker attached to him. Kahaku cared so much about Fushi and in the end he was right about Fushi wearing himself out too much, but he doesn't get credit where credit is due. Kahaku was always trying to look out for Fushi's best interest (even if it didn't always work out for him), which is more than I can say Bon and some of the others who were hiding things for their own goals.

Is he perfect? No, but he still tried his best and in the end he wasn't selfish, he left Fushi of his own accord because he thought it was best for him if they parted.

Kahaku really was a good person! As it was said he wanted the best for Fushi. It was so sad how he held Fushi, consoling him for the Nokker invasion and all the pressure on Fushi. As this happens his nokkers forces him to hold onto fushi and absorb his essence. as he is panicking and horrified by this he tries to fight it off. he ends up painfully and tearfully chopping his damn arm off. eventually he with his one arm saves Fushis adopted daughter Ekko from the nokker. he sacrifices his happiness for Fushis safety and leaves. admitting the guardians were always useless to fushi, despite devoting themselves to him for the past 200 years. overall Kahakus character is that of a devoted warrior who ultimately fails in every way. he states how when he was born that his family was sad it was not a female, but he went on and tried his best anyway. underused and underrated character

Dude, what are you on about?! Kahaku never tried to rape Fushi, he would rather kill himself than even think that way. He never tried to subdue or manipulate Fushi, he just tried to please and impress him. And he did not try to claim rights to it, he said that he would never forgive someone who tries to manipulate Fushi or make him property.

I feel bad for Kahaku, but for a different reason. Even if Fushi wouldn't mate with him, because Parona hates Hayase's guts, for all that Kahaku did he should have at least gotten a kiss from Fushi as a reward. Parona's body should have permitted that much. But nope, Kahaku got squat.

Accusing somebody of not having watched the show properly is really stupid, since it seems like you haven’t either.
Where did you got the idea of Kahaku being a rapist? Was it from this one scene where he sexually assaulted Fushi? That was one time. Or was it the scene at the end? But there he wasn’t trying to rape him, he was trying to console him even thought it still looked weird. Kahaku would have never intentionally hurt Fushi.
Also, Another thing that bothers me on your post is that you say that he was just like his ancestors. Kahaku was different in many ways starting how he was towards Fushi compared to the 5 generations before him.
Even thought he fell in love at some point, he wanted to become friends at the beginning.
After the assault scene he started seeing Fushi as a human being rather then a god or object of desire. He was the only one of his bloodline that was able to build a friendship with Fushi.( And probably the only one of the important people of this bloodline who was not mentally ill)

So before accusing someone of not having watched the anime properly, go watch it yourself a second time.
Also in terms of shitting on controversial characters I have to remind you that you are a fan of Eren Jäger, who’s actions where not what you call heavenly either.

I clearly understand if you don’t like Kahaku,
I mean, he had the talent of being an annoying little piece of shit some times,
But you should at least think before making accusing any body here.

I watched the show and read the manga 4 times, bro and NO. Literally, Kahaku hated himself so much that his Knocker killed Fushi that he literally killed himself, out of guilt, Kahaku hated when Fushi was tortured, and hardly even thought in that direction. He STROKE him on the cheek without asking, in the anime they made it so that he also hugged him at the same time. Yes, He was creepy, but he didn’t become like that because he really was like that or went crazy out of the blue: the hand drove him crazy, it was the purpose of they specifically, + concern for Fushi and suspicions in the team: the dude needs there was psychological help at that moment, he was not himself.

so watch the anime yourself.

Literally the whole story of Kahaku is that he is not like Hayase. When his hand tries to kill Marsh, he cuts off his hand, when Hayase killed her, he sacrifices himself for Eko, when Hayase would have killed her out of jealousy, he realizes that he is dangerous to Fushi and leaves for him, Hayase says: I love you, killing Fushi's family, Kahaku says: I love you, dying for Fushi. He was one of the family who loved him for his humanity, cared about his well-being, abandoned the clan for the sake of Fushi. It's his fault that he was Creepy, but calling him a Rapist is putting something on him that has nothing to do with him at all.
