| With the sequel now publishing is there any chance of the original manga getting a reprint?? Looking at pictures of manga covers, i see 2 different vol. 1 covers (other vols too), and the new cover is in the same style as the sequel cover, so in japan they got a reprint?? English version was never completed, anyone know of other manga that first run was not complete but got completed in reprint? Maybe ther's still hope for this |

Shogakukan (those behind Viz) lost all the rights for Konjiki no Gash !! , so there won't be a reprint made by them. (That's why it never got completed in English) Those who have the rights for it is Kodansha , so they should be able to do their own publication (even in English , via Kodansha US) , but they are not those who actually publish the Sequel , so it seems that something happened... Tankoubon (Normal) edition with 33 Volumes , a recompiled 16 Volumes Bunkoban (smaller books) edition & a 16 Volumes Kanzenban (Definitive/Perfect/Final) edition. |

But the fact that the Sequel is published not by Kodansha , but by a random unknown company is weird... Since Kodansha has the rights , they should have got the Sequel published under their label , and if it was the case , a reprint would have been something to expect , but now... Dunno. |

The Bunko/Kanzenban (dunno which one) is being published in Brazil, so I say that's totally possible. I do recall Kodansha not being the owner anymore though. It seems there are bunch of manga rereleases by minor publishers. The Hokuto no Ken kanzenban comes to mind. |
