"Since You Parted" is the legendary After You've Gone (Episode 44 of the original) that won the best UY episode poll twice, once in 1986 for the End of Series poll and another time in 2019 for the Rumic World Mega poll. The Valentine episode is the same as Pitter-Patter Christmas Eve except it's manga-accurate and doesn’t take place during Christmas. I'd tell new fans to look forward to these episodes the most. | Other, than sealed with kiss being 137, Cultural Festival Close Call is 56. (Not 57). But I assume what they are gone adapt is probably chapter 55 Sports Festival Close Call, because that was adapted in original anime and it is also the introduction of ran (chapter 56 and 57 were skipped in original anime and directly concluded with chapter 58) |

| For the most part I'm not really particular about what gets adapted and what doesn't as we are going to miss out on a lot of good stuff either way but if they don't do "The St. Valentine's Day Massacre" (Ch. 69) and "The Ant Trap Of Love" (Ch. 70) in one of the other 3 cours I'm going to be rather disappointed which might actually happen considering how much content is going to get skipped and that the main focus of these two chapters isn't on the two lead characters. |
| Looks really promising for the selected chapters that get adapted. If the remake becomes successful, hopefully they could make another cour not just two to adapt the rest of the manga since there are tons of good content that never make it into the original anime. I want to see Tomobiki Beauty Contest to be adapted properly maybe for the next cour. |

It’s going to be a "best of" series instead of a full adaptation. |

| Since episode 4 was a single chapter episode then it means there'll be another single chapter episode. I think it's "Since Your Parting" aka "After You've Gone". It'll make an excellent final episode for 2022 or cour 1. |
