Review repost did not work

I first set my reading progress in Outer Zone to vol 8, ch 3, as I assumed it meant ch 3 in vol 8 instead of the whole series. After posting the review, I realized the mistake, and changed my reading progress, but it was not reflected in the review. I deleted my review and reposted it (this time with my updated real reading progress), but my updated (with few wording changes) review does not show up, and my old one shows up. When I try to edit it, it tells me that the review is not mine and I could not edit it. Could the old review be replaced by my new review? I just wanted to fix the reading progress as I'm new to this site.

The "reviews" under my profile menu links to a review that is not the one that shows up on the manga reviews page (evidenced by the change in wording).

I want to tell you more about your mistake, but I do not want yet another ‘do not backseat mod bruh’ PM, so I will only say this:
MyAnimeList Database does not update your review the moment you make any changes, or press that PUBLISH button. Sometimes it might even take up to 30 minutes for your review to be seen on MAL. Hopefully, you will understand my hint.

I was not aware that it does not instantly update. It seems that the problem is solved now. Sorry for the bother, but it seems I cannot delete threads.

You do not need to delete threads, it might be helpful for someone in the future. No need to worry that much, we are a part of one community.
