I haven't read Y2 yet, but my favs are Vol. 4, 7, 8, 11, and 11.5.

I think vol. 8 rarely gets talked about but it's genuinely one of my favorites.

I agree with you that it’s hard to choose and after recently starting year 2 you should definitely read it so far every volume has been amazing.

I voted for Y1V7, but my top volumes are all pretty close in rank. I really like Y1V7 and Y2V7 since they are the volumes where everything goes down, but my other top volumes are Y1V6, Y1V9, Y1V10, Y1V11.5, Y2V5, and Y2V6. I think I tend to like the volumes that focus on character interactions more, and that’s why I am never disappointed by the .5 volumes (especially the Ibuki scenes). Like, in V6 there was the stuff with the Ayanokouji Group, in V9

in V10 my favorite part was the

Unfortunately, the anime will likely ruin all of this since it tends to speed through the character drama and interactions in order to quickly reach the action-y parts, but I’ll probably still enjoy it.

If I had to rank every volume (I’m leaving out the “Y1” so it’s easier to write):

I found a link from a youtube video called Classroom of the Elite all Volumes or something like that and in the description it had the links to all the volumes out now.
