Fire Force

Yet another hated show I ended up liking lol its hated because of senseless fanservice during serious scenes. fanservice is fine but timing is bad |

| Tbh the fan service isn't really a problem for me because it didn't really happen that much. But there's an eps in s2 where 50% of it basically just fan service. Other than that the anime is good |

Sometimes I read posts of people complaining about fan service and I think maybe they’re full of crap and hiding their true selves. There was a person who was going on and on how they hate fan service and yet their list was full of hentai. I’m sure some people really do get offended and that’s fine. I can never be so prudish but that’s me. Anyway I’ll watch any show that interests me regardless what the score is. I use the score loosely as a reference. I was a fan of soul eater so when fire force came out I was going to check it out and I love both shows. |

I was a fan of soul eater so when fire force came out I was going to check it out and I love both shows. there are some people who get offended for genuine reasons like direct or indirect attacks against their (not limited to) country/state/religion/ethnicity/culture/orientation etc. That is understandable and I am not talking about them being offended is wrong. Also there are certain situations where sexualization crosses the line and can be very very offensive. But most of the time, such situations are anticipated. They put a disclaimer or warning to tell viewers that some scenes might offend them. Yet they watch, they go to internet and they make a big deal about it. which feels utterly senseless. They make comments like "This stuff should not exist, because I can't watch it around others", "This thing is bad, I dont like it. It should not exist. I will cancel it" and similar others. I mean there are so many other people who enjoy it, and they dont care about that. Well, the world we live in is cruel. So we can't change such people. The best we can do is, like what we want and ignore their biased comments. |

I'm sorry but for most people complaining about the fan service it has nothing to do with snowflakes or wtv. it's a show about literal terrorism, fire demons, and firemen fighting firedemons and investing the mistery behind it. I do not want random ass dumb illogical fan service to distract and create tonal dissonant moments. you have one guy talking about how he is betraying everyone and plans on killing children and next frame tamaki has a fucking camel and is moaning like she's getting double penetrated... it's bad. I don't mind random fan service moments on the comedic light-hearted moments that most shows give us to take a break from the seriousness... but this just bad. u can enjoy it, doesn't make it any less bad umm i never said the fanservice is being complained by Snowflakes or SJWs. And also, I too think some Tamaki moments are unnecessary. But it is what it is. I will not call a show bad in whole, just due to 1 or 2(or lets just say 10% of the entire runtime) unnecessary scenes. Thats just downright stupid. |
| Some people simply don’t like this show. I didn’t really care about the fanservice, but I can see how to others it could be considered unnecessary and annoying. It’s over done. Everyone has different opinions on what they consider to be too much and it seems a lot of people agree that this show has too much fanservice. I’ve also seen some people say that they find this show too generic. So it’s not like fanservice is the only issue. |
| The fanservice itself isn't a problem, I don't mind fanservice. It's the Tamaki fanservices used in some scenes that just take me out and gives me whiplash, especially serious ones. |

| You havent experienced any whiplash in the middle of a serious scene? I mean Fairy Tail incorporates fanservice anytime even during serious fight scenes etc.. But even that author and One Piece's author Oda knows how to incorporate ass and booba while having serious scenes and not make it feel like you've been pulled out of what you were watching for something else. |

When I heard about it I expected to see a titty in every scene but so far it's been an extremely small part. There are more moments in season 2, one fight was basically just fanservice. You're still In season 1 that's why. Still love this show tho |

| Bro same. So many negative reviews must jeeeez are you kidding those reviews put me off from watching FF. And then when I did give it a try. Mannnn was I seriously bothered. Fire force is stupid brilliant. Fanservice is a bit much sure but it's just there for some laughs. The show doesn't rely on it I don't believe. Cause the characters( which I legit love all which is rare) are dope and have plausible inner turmoil and trauma and that only adds to their character depth. They are all strong and they are also struggling on the reg. I love it. The art and aesthetics and music just takes me somewhere else sometimes. That mayday intro gets me so riled up I can't contain the excitement even to this day if I play it. The story is good. You can't say it's anything less. It's complex. Interesting. Insight. A lot of knowledge is clearly conveyed plus creativity. Jeez I don't want to rave or rant further but I feel so damn strongly about this anime 😖 It's got its own style that you can immediately recognise cause it's not some generic typical seen this before kinda mumbo jumbo. I believe that strongly. Sorry I am being bias. Doesn't fade into the background like all the other same same old anime styles etc. It stands out. Can't deny it. It moves me yo. For real. Anyway I need to stop before this gets out of hand. Haters are dumb and comfortable. F them. But I can respect those who don't love it. |
