As much as I like 131 I’d say that 130 makes for a better cliffhanger. Seeing Eren after so long right about to kill so many people. That last shot would create more hype for the next season

Chapter 131 was a very well written chp but chp 130 has a better CLIFFHANGER as per my opinion so i think they decided to end at chp 130.

I don't think it would be good to adapt Ch 131 in this part considering the good pacing they've done, it would be rushed
Adapting Ch 130 + 123 was a perfect way to show Eren's pov and character development to the anime onlys while ending this part with such an impactful cliffhanger
So there's no complaints

Chapter 131 is a PERFECT beginning for a season, especially a final one.
I know shows do really like starting their final seasons with new characters, for some reason

Ch131 definitely, but ig the studio couldn't deliver a good adaptation of the chapter given their time, so it's better that it wasn't animated to be ruined

I'm fine with the way it is. 130 was fitting for a cliffhanger ending and the last part will start off with a horrific spectacle.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

131? Nah, it would have had worse quality for the final episode, not to mention episode 11, and 130/123 is a good off point to leave off of for part 2.

131 is a great chapter but it doesn’t really work as a last episode of a part/season. The monologue from Mikasa and then from Eren. The sense of impeding doom the world is feeling right now and Eren making his decision clear was and is the best way to end the part. Chapter 130 had all of those.

If chapters where Marleyan and survey corps doing some teamwork didn't happen, yes it's a good ending point because it'll be really awkward to see people doing things to stop something and all the sudden the series ended
