| Well not all shojo art are like these, some are much better and more consistent through out. But the thing is that shoujo art style surely is different and not meant for everyone. For example shounen mangas have darker panels and shoujo manga have more dull or greyish panels with an art that has a lot of lines. Like they tend to draw eyes and hair with a lot of lines and stuff. There male leads are usually way too thin and they have long fingers and long lips and stuff, while there female also not always have voluptuouse oppai. Might be different in Japan, but a lot of girls I'm familiar with (including myself) dislike that more feminine appearance. K-pop boys are a thing, but their fanbase is 99% middle-school girls. Agree with you on the height tho. Being tall is always a big bonus with women |

| The manga image you posted is just a bad art lol (I apologise to the author for saying this). A lot other shoujo manga have fine and decent, if anythin beautiful artstyle. These are the manga that the author has a very nice art imo (and completely the type of shoujo arts that I love): Now this is shoujo manga. You think these suits your taste? |

| @tinker3bellz1 I mean the screenshots you posted all look the same. I never heard of most of those artists before. CLAMP is another artist that used to draw pretty shoujo. |

I admit the way those big eyes came out is pretty similar, but for a shoujo manga lover like me, the artstyle is very different and I can totally tell them apart. Yeah you never heard of the authors (more like, almost everyone in MAL) because those manga are some of the many obscure manga that I read (and I like). I know CLAMP too but I don't read hers. |
