Barely any CGI for this episode????

I felt like most of the titans were either 2D or almost unnoticeable CGI, well done mappa! Went all out for this episode. Some scenes with zeke and pieck's titans were definitely drawn.

There was too much smoke in this episode that's covering the screen. For some reason I didn't like the smoke.😂 the animation was really good but I felt like the smoke is covering the good animation

Nah. This episode had more noticeable CGI. Not bad but excessive amount of titans made it look more distinct.

Attack titan and Armour titan CGI were noticable but other than that yeah CGI is either hard to notice or not present at all.

The smoke was actually used to censor gore scenes (blood, flesh,...)

The camera angles were basically CGI. also when the jaw titan was biting Eren's titan also had CGI on it there was still decent amount of CGI tho.

Eren and reiner were still CG for the most part, Poroc not so much and Zeke was the one that got the most 2d treatment since he didnt moved much.

Of course all midndless titans are 2d since it would take more time to have to make models for all of them.

But yes the synergy with 2d and 3D in these past eps make the synergy of ep 7 of part 1 ( which was the best synergy in all those 16 eps ) look like a joke.

Wtf are you saying bro? The fight between eren and reiner - porco was most CGI. But the CGI was really smooth and amazing, so I won't complain anything.

That's what they're saying.. They're saying it's sooo well done that you can't tell it's CG.

I mean the CGI design was still noticeable, but it was the CGI character animation movement I considered amazing, it was so smooth and fluid unlike in the part 1.

I think people just care about CGI Models , CGI environments are pretty common

i guess this is just me but i felt like this was one of mappa’s worst animated episodes. Not saying its bad or anything but imo there are other eps created by mappa that look better

I wouldnt say "barely any CGI" since every moving shot was CGI. It was definitely noticeable with how every hit lacked impact and there was a lack of fluidity. Better than part 1 marley fight for sure tho.

Yes, the close up face shots of Zeke when he looked at eren and when he screamed were definitely hand drawn
