Any news on a High rise Invasion Season 2?

I totally loved High Rise Invasion Season 1.
It reminded me of an old school anime like Baoh, or, Demon City Shinjuku, but, with, rebooted animation, and, new school relevance.

Sure… the show is a bit wonky and disjointed, but, that is honestly what makes it so damn enjoyable, as, it doesn’t seem to take its self to serious, which is is refreshing.

I dunno… WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Anyways, curious if anyone had any information regarding a second season. I’ve search engined a bit, but, it seems to be fairly preliminary information.

Not any information yet. I’d advise you to read the manga cause it is much better and also cause the anime skipped some parts of the manga. The manga is already finished by the way.

i also really enjoyed it so i started the manga a while back cuz im impatient either way. but i haven't picked it up in a while and now seeing this i definetly will!

Interesting. I thought the show was really weird/original, the production was almost B quality, in, I think the directors were trying to make the show grotesquely subterranean and gaudy.
Each episode seems like a story you would have seen on some beat up old Japanese to US vhs tape import, almost, as though, translated in a unsophisticated manner, blind to its errors, like a lot of those old school vhs imports.

I like those sorta poorly produced anime, I find them charming.
I’m a bit of a history nerd, and, I think it was a pretty interesting time (1985-1996 ish) for Japanese to US anime imports, and, in essence, find High Rise Invasion to be in a similar vain.

Produced to incite hysteria, as, well, as to, be as bilious as humanly possible.

JUST MY OBSERVATION AND PERSONAL OPINION THOUGH
WHAT DO U GUYS THINK ABOUT HIGH RISE INVASION?

Not any info about season 2, but if you want story continuation, you can read the manga. It’s for sale on Barnes and Nobles. They are double volumes (one book covers 2 volumes) for a little less than $20. The art is as good if not better than the anime. Season 1 covers around 12 volumes.
