| Do you know any rumors or urban legends about anime? Especially the ones that were prevalent in the younger years of the anime community? I can remember how people from 4chan forced a fake troll interview with the creators of Gundam, where they allegedly said that they "add gay moments because fujoshi is incredibly easy to make money" or or how people in Russia inexplicably believed that Sailor Moon was created to corrupt European children. |

| there is this big rumor saying that matsumto izumi didn't draw kimagure orange road after volume 4 because of his back pains, he only did the name, the dialogue and some touches whereas the real chapters were drawn by his assistants. ishida sui is in fact tanigawa nagaru. and the mother of all, shinzawa motoei (mangaka of kimengumi) refused 3 offers for his kimengumi adaptation, he finally accepted but he was so discontent about the adaptation that he made his manga bad on purpose with he introduction of the time travel thingy and other shit. No one knows why he was so upset because the anime was hot and popular, everyone was buying the manga and he made lots of yen, no one sent any death threats, it's a mystery. Some say that the time travel was made so that the characters may still be in their 1st year in high school but it still makes no sense because you can prolong a school year, just add some gags. Well, it's kimengumi so of course nothing makes sense, I don't expect the mangaka of that manga to be sane. |

| There was a legend surrounding the Dragon Half OVA where it only got 2 episodes because the animators were arrested for drug possession. Hoewer, it was just a joke on the DVD commentary that people took literally. |

Reminded the story of the fate of one old hentai OVA, when the authors planned to make several episodes, but they quickly ran out of resources due to expensive animation and the invitation of a popular illustrator. The guys managed to do "in the next episode ..." before the actual second episode was created, so people have been looking for a non-existent second episode for 15+ years. |
