| I think so. The symbol is not that important but due to how many scenes the symbol will be prevalent, those scenes will look jarring with the censorship. People cannot do their research to understanding the nuance of the symbol in this day and age even though we have information at the tips of our hands. |

Censored means something inappropriate to be viewed is edited during the preview. Uncensored means no changes are required in a presentation or something though inappropriate has not been changed or modified . the manji is pretty much a Hindu/Buddhist staple in addition to being present in indigenous NA culture..but yeah i get it why it's such a no no in western culture.. To understand the situation, it should be noted that the name of the band in Japan is “Tokyo Manji Gang“, Which in Japanese is written as Tokyo Revengers, using a sauastika (卍) for your writing. It is not necessary to think much about it to identify why the symbol had to be censored outside of Japan, as it could easily be confused with the swastika (卐), which is commonly associated with Nazism, although they are completely different Yeah. I think they could have easily fixed with a note at the bottom or top of the screen explaining what the symbol means, but because western streaming platforms are probably too scared get the cancel mob, I mean I would be scared too if they came after me. |

| It was more than just a symbol censorship like in Episode 5, it has a weird cut and zooming in to the face to avoid showing Manji Logo. I have watched both version and it's really annoying and takes me out of the enjoyment. So for your fully enjoyment please just watch the Uncensored Version it's available for free and legal on Muse Asia Youtube Channel. |

| Well the censorship in this week's episode was finally bad enough to force me to call it out too. I had to go and search for the uncensored and why they chose to cut away from such a key moment in the main character's development is just baffling to me. Absolutely shameful. |

| Alright the latest episode's censorship was pretty terrible, they showed the sky while takemichi was dodging kiyomasa and it made it look like takemichi teleported from gripping kiyomasa from the front to suddenly choking him from the back lol |
