You guys think this story will end on a single season? Hard to say since it's not an adaptation, i would love to watch more of this characters, but can totally see it having a closed ending on episode 12

It’ll likely have only one season, or there will be a second season. It’s hard to tell as I haven’t seen the series yet. But if the ending is perfect for the series I think they will keep it closed.

Yeah, I don’t know about that either. With three episodes left, there are a lot of plot points to cover. After episode 9, I’m sorta curious about a season 2

I don't care how many episodes. As long as they tell the story they want and finish it as intended, then I don't care.

I don't know, if season 1 ends off nicely with a good conclusion then it might be better off leaving it at that,

If they can provide a GOOD second season then Im all up for it but the first season is so good and kinda hard to top lmao, I feel like a second season will just be milking the popularity from the first season since it doesnt really seem necessary atm

Its a different story if they are unable to wrap everything up nicely in season 1 tho :/

Considering the nature of the production behind it, I doubt there'd be sequels. It's more of an animation passion project from some really talented and passionate people and not your generic "mass produced" anime. There is obviously no source material so the writers have a story they want to tell, and I really don't think with a project like this, they'd potentially risk not being able to tell the whole story (they had no idea to predict how popular the anime would become).

Ep 9. Felt really rushed, especially when they showed that they can record the dreams, existance of plati socaiety and that plati society is somehow connected to ACCA mannequins. That's a lot of plot being pushed at once. So I think they are pushing for one seanson
