Does Bottle Fairy count? Sure, there are visible highlights on the hair, but they're not heavily contrasted like the examples you provided and many of the backgrounds in the show are fairly minimalistic. The character designs are actually quite simplistic (even if their hair may not seem so easy to draw) and it's especially simplistic when the characters deform into chibis for comedic effect. Being a movie, the backgrounds on Animal Crossing: The Movie are quite detailed, but the characters don't have overly detailed shading/highlights to them. Maybe this is the anime for you, especially if you're already a fan of the Animal Crossing games.  |
