Attack on Titan
| People were worried about the pacing, telling persons to go read the manga before we even watch the second episode, but after watching the second episode we are in good hands the pacing will be good. They are rearranging scenes in the anime, just like how they did in season 1 in some episodes and if they are skipping any contents it wont be anything that will harm the plot. A really good adaptation is not following the source material word for word, but instead giving the anime its own identity and I really like what I am seeing, also adding a bit of anime original scenes that adds more to the series overall and also give us manga readers something new to see as well. All my worries are not completely gone, we are in good hands. Thank you Mappa for taking up this series. Now everyone its time we stop the fear mongering and enjoy the series, this is the final season after all. Enjoy it while it last. |

So many cut moments, half the war convo, Ackerman titan science, Gabi sneaking up on Falco, half of Gabi dialogue when she returns to Liberio, Gabi Falco headbutt, Mister gate keeper, Piecks ass, also they just skimp out on drawing any flashback panels, no ominous colossal or attack titan, no Reiner big brother or any of the survey cour. This entire season just feels rushed and lazy. Anime onlies don’t even know how bad they’re getting it, just go read the manga. |

| Y'all are not even using your brains. Re-ordering scenes does not mean cutting them. Whatever major stuff you thought has been cut probably is gonna be addressed later. |

Thats way too much. They should've added the flashback images like in the manga and they didnt talk about the ackerman science what makes me really mad They are adding the flashback in next episode, so all of episode 3 will be a flashback, go and watch the preview for the next episode. the ackerman will be brought up back in chapter 112, which is why they skip it. People need to realize that this is a visual medium if they were to adapt the manga word for word we would have characters sitting down in one place speaking for 10 minutes straight not good for a visual medium and also this would cause probably with the limited time for each episode. Even if this is a troll I unfortunatly have to agree with some of it for now. They skipped so many scenes that I've been wanting to se animated for years. It's not bad tho, just disappointing, as a manga reader that is There is a difference between scenes that you want to see and scenes that are important to the plot, they can't adapt everything in it and I hope you will get use to this, because some stuff will be skip in future episodes. the adaptation isn't meant to be a carbon copy of the manga. |

Dude these people have had sleepless nights working on this series, I don't think you have been following behind the scenes. Also, there is a lot of minor scenes they skip, you make it sound like its a single scene they skip. Just admit that you didn't want them to skip anything. I bet you were not behaving like this when wit skip so much of the uprising arc in season 3 part 1. |
| The summary of episode 2,3 and 4 were out a day after episode 1 though and all those episodes are covering 2 chapters like wit so don't worry about pacing and this season will cover till chapter 122 or 124 with in those 16 episodes and final arc which is ongoing right now will air as a movie or something (could be split too) |

I agree, aside from a few very minor nit picks not even worth mentioning, the adaptation by MAPPA so far has been great, and the pacing has been fine. People seem to think that flashbacks are being skimped out on and panels have been cut. It's likely they'll be covered as part of a flashback episode next week. |

| They're probably gonna explain the "ackerman science" later since we saw Kenny in the preview. As Dac said, things will get rearranged. The manga probably had a lot more dialogue but this adaptation is fine. As an anime only I really thought how good the writing is. The fact that the concept of freedom is unknown to these so called "good eldians". Simple things like eating a potato out of time is the work of the devil. Though I do love my dialogue scenes, I think cutting out some of it comes for a good adaptation. I'd love to read the manga for some more insight and more dialogue and I am reading the manga simultaneously with the anime. The pacing is really good imo. It didn't feel rushed at all and I enjoyed this episode probably more than last week's even if it was a dialogue heavy episode. I said this before and I'll say it again. A faithful adaptation doesn't automatically translate to a good adaptation. |

| I think it's a bit pointless to be discussing this so early. Like others said, many stuff can still be rearranged in a different order in the anime, so we have no way to really judge the pacing so far. It's been 2 episodes guys, chill. |

| Lots of people are forgetting that most of the cut lore bits (e.g. stuff in the Zeke-Colt conversation) can just be added in the "Currently Available Information" cards in the next couple of episodes. |

Re-arranging certain things to appear in later episodes does not mean its getting cut from the source material lol |
