Does anyone know where I can buy the English dubbed Bluray version of Your Name? All I can find online is release dates and stuff. I found it on amazon but it didn't say if it had the English dub.

Also, to add to that, does anyone know of any good/cheap sites where I can buy anime? I'd like it if the site had all the details of the item (English Dub/Sub, Quality, and stuff like that).

Thanks

Mod Edit: Modified title for clarity and/or easier searching.

Stick to RightStuf if you are in the States.

It will have the English Dub with the Blu-ray release, Funimation confirmed.

MAL is so inconsistent with the database, it's really not a reliable source of info. I could show you examples from series that have been airing for over a year now with no added information.

I honestly feel like they must be getting overwhelmed. More series are being spit out continually and each one potentially has so much info that needs to be verified and added...
Just thinking about it makes me pity them.

Does the bluray release have a date? I looked on funimation but all I could find was the date for theater release

July 26th according to Rocketnews.

EDIT: I also just found Amazon listing it for August 4th.

So I really don't know on the date.

That close huh? Awesome. So do you buy that directly from the funimation site? Also you seem pretty knowledgeable so one more thing if you don't mind. I've been meaning to watch it but the comments on KA say that the audio quality is bad. Is that because the bluray hasn't come out yet, or some other reason?

I'm still gonna buy it but I can't wait to watch 😁

@Kuraokani Please note my edit, it may in fact be August 4th.

I don't buy directly from anyone really. I'm based in the US, so I buy from RightStuf (notable discount 3rd party seller), which has great deals especially on manga, or Amazon from whoever.

The quality on those streaming sites is probably bad because it's a cam-rip. Meaning, someone filmed it in the theater at their local showing. Wait for the Blu-ray is my advice, I'm sure it'll be more than worth it.

Any questions at all, feel free to ask.
Cheers

The one on Amazon is the Japanese import version which includes the english subtitles. Its releases in Japan on July 27th, you can get it one July 27th if you order through AmazonJp but your gonna have to pay a hefty shipping fee.

NO NO NO

Funimation have not confirmed any release date except for it coming out this year. That Amazon listing from Chandela still lists the JAPANESE version of the movie, so it's an import on the American Amazon site.
