 ~ Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu ~ Synopsis "Suddenly, high school student Subaru Natsuki has been summoned to another world on the way back from the convenience store. With the biggest crisis of his life being summoned to another world, and with no sign of the one who summoned him, things become even worse when he is attacked. | It was a good start with a double episode . I'm not sure if I liked because it's been a while since I watched something with adventure wise.. or if it's because it was good. I'm curious to see how they are going to use this "re write"/"go back in time" power of the mc. |

| Oh, I'm watching this also. I loved the beginning with the introduction of the characters and the interactions between the MC, "Satella" and the cat spirit. There was a lot going on there and I immediately began getting attached to the characters and the so-called bonds between them. That being the case, the "time leap" actually upset me. Everything I loved about the start of this series was just erased, essentially. After that it became a frustrating mess. How the heck does the MC leave a convenience store, suddenly find himself in another world, and immediately be like "Oh, wow, I just got teleported to another universe!"... then can't figure out that after he dies he does some sort of time leap thing and resets back to the appa stand? That part bugged me a bit. Plus, as interesting as the story might have been and with the introduction of new characters, I never came to appreciate it as much as I did in the beginning. So I ended the first episode with very mixed feelings. Now that it's been a week and I've watched the second episode, I'm less bothered by the loss of the beginning part and a bit more open-minded about the series in general. We'll see though. It really comes down to how this time leap power gets used. @Harus, I don't know how "Satella" found the place either, but she didn't have the MC as a distraction like in the first episode either. I guess she just chased Felt uninterrupted and found her own leads. I honestly expected the person at the door would be Reinhard. |

| @Keishiro I really liked the characters so far and the whole idea itself too ^^ About he noticing what's going on right away, when he went to another universe.. I liked... I mean, it's actually realistic, Imagine yourself in his situation ... you out of nowhere is now seeing humanoid lizards/dogs/cats and notices the environment and everything else ... you would come up with the same conclusion (or that you were sleeping) . about the death, and coming back to the same point.. yeah it took him quite a while to notice.. but not enough to be a problem. I also thought it was going to be reinhard (the swordsman guy). I'm not sure why, but I'm really enjoying this anime ^^ |

| @Harus Honestly, I didn't have an issue with him being able to deduce immediately that he was in some alternate fantasy world. But I do think that someone with that kind of intelligence, imagination and open-minded acceptance of the situation could have immediately figured out that his life was "reset" back to the appa stand after he died like some sort of video game. Maybe not immediately, no, but after events started playing out the same way and he recognized people but they acted like they never saw him before, I think he should have immediately deduced one of two things: either he had a vision of the future, or he actually lived it and leapt backwards through time somehow. Even if he didn't figure it out the first time, the second time it should have been obvious. Still, it took him three whole times before he actually started to figure it out. It's not that big of a deal, really. I'm not condemning the show for this little thing or anything lol. But I admit that it was frustrating to watch him be so clueless when all the signs and hints were right in front of his face. Like I said, I'm less bothered by that stuff now compared to when I was watching it at the time. I really am enjoying the anime so far, but I also hope that some character relationships can develop eventually. If this turns out to be an anime version of Edge of Tomorrow then that's fine if it's executed really well. |

| Maybe it's because I've just watched these shows, but Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu just feels a lot like a mix of Konosuba and Boku dake ga inai Machi. Since neither impressed me, I have low expectations about this one! Hahaha I know Konosuba is hardly the only "getting transported to a MMORPG like world" out there (but it's one of the few I've watched) and the same thing applies to the time leap in Boku dake, but they're still so fresh in my memory that I can't help but associate them to this anime. I hope I lose this biased mindset and enjoy the rest of it! ::) |

I know he died and maybe he was confuse .. still for someone that notices right away that he was transported to another dimension he did took too long to notice his "rewind" power. Yea it's a minor thing. @Kappa_Pie I can see why you are associating it.. but I don't think it will be similar to either of them .. Hopefully I'm right and you will enjoy it ^^ |

| Hmm interesting how things weren't exactly the same this time... and the episode was pretty light giving some screen time to rem and ram (bit more to rem) .. and as expected he was killed and this time he was expecting but still wasn't able to avoid it. Pretty brutal hit he got there in the end ~ looking forward for the next episode. |

| noo Rem .. why? ? Yeah it was pretty obvious it was someone from the mansion .. the mains suspect was the owner since we didn't know much about him, still ram and rem were suspects too. Well Ram told Subaru to not tell the story to Rem... so maybe rem is the 'blue ogre' of the story and is doing that for some reason...also she smiled when subaru talked with her about demons on the previous episode... |

| ok... now we know that the first time he died on the mansion it wasn't because of Rem.. and that was also the time they went to the village together which means she trusted him that time. This time he didn't do anything and Rem died.. which means there's maybe an outsider enemy. loved Beatrice on this episode ^^ oh, it was reaaaally nice to see some side effects of the deaths on subaru ... I'm really enjoying this anime. |

| It's good to see that all those deaths and stress is getting some effect on subaru. We had 2 clues this episode, first the 'shaman' is on the village ... and the shadow power.. let he see the thing behind his power of Resurrection . |

| Nice episode again we learned a lot about demons , their horns rem's powers and a bit ram's past... i wonder if subaru got a new save point after surviving the dogs attacks . Also it's pretty useful how he learned that he can't tell his secret but trying to somehow makes him emanate some kind of mana / majou smell/aura ... Really looking forward for the next episode ^^ |

If he tried to return earlier (because it seems like he waste at least the whole afternoon) he could warn the villagers (that would believe him) and try to convince emilia to do something .. idk.. |

I think the possibility of assuring the safety of the villagers, without transporting them to the main kingdom city or whatever, to be really hard without triggering the flags he went through this episode (which makes them die to the whale). An opinion to go back immediately when he "re-spawns," with rem, could be a solution but I don't think they have enough man power to fight back from the witch cult or move everyone to safety before another flag is triggered. However, it might be the only logical solution.. unless the author pulls some curve-ball flag that allows him to beat/evade the witch cult. Been thinking about ways the story could evolve for a bit but to no avail. Maybe a small flag that is triggered during the start of the re-spawn that is hidden? or some OP tactic like SAO where MC becomes the witch incarnate |

I mean will need to make something up anyways. I think going back immediately would be the better option.. but i'm not sure they have the strength to resist too... still I'm sure they would have a better shot at succeeding than normally, it seems like they were catch off guard the other times. Also , maybe they have a way to call Roswaal back on the mansion. We'll probably have something unexpected happening.. a curve ball like you said ... maybe someone will come and help. |

From an outsider perspective Subaru has been acting pretty crazy, especially with everything he said to Emilia. So the fact that some people wouldn't believe him is not that unlikable. Either way, it would still be impossible for him and Rem to evacuate the whole vilage by themselves. So asking for help was the best call. The villagers would believe him, they know he was the one that saved the kids.. if there was going to have enough time.. that I don't know. Emilia on the other hand probably wouldn't believe him... but maybe with help of rem, ram and betty he could convince her... To ask for help was a valid idea... the only problem was.. he doesn't know how to not sound like a totally crazy and desperate person '-' |
