| By mysterious I refer that the protagonist doesn't know much about the girl (for example, who she really is, her past, why she does or reacts to things in a way the protagonist can't understand, if she's showing to him her real personality... etc), and discovers more about her as the story (that can be based around her or not) progresses. Teenager looking = She might be 500 but looks like a teen, or she's just a teenager in first place. Some examples that come to mind and fit more or less: - Tasogare Otome x Amnesia - ef. A tale of Memories/Melodies - The light novels HakoMari and Gekkou. I don't mind much the source material. | How long does the mystery need to persist? Busou Renkin ep. 1 kinda fits but she spills the beans in episode 2. Good romance subplot though. |

I watched the first four episodes for curiosity (I never heard about that anime before) and it was pretty good, I really liked Tokiko's character so far and the comedy was on point too, so I will keep watching for now anyways, thanks mate! |
