I'm on episode 6 and I'm enjoying the show. My one dig so far is the half step on trying to be so gory and fucked up but avoiding the nipple at all costs. Even mutilated corpses from the ice user have bras on still. Does the show ever release any puppies or should I get used to it? Just find it funny on some level they can cut folks to pieces but are afraid of a little skin.

The anime doesn't have nudity at all, just some ecchi scenes. I don't remember if the manga has nudity (it has violence gorier than the one of the anime, but doesn't show nipples).

There is an spin-off of the series named Akame ga Kill! Zero who it has true nudity, but the chapters when some nipples appears are not translated yet.

I just think it shows that it's kind of an immature show, which is fine it's still dope, but so far it feels like shonen with blood and it's not a seinen

That's probably because it is a shounen.

Ah I guess so. It was reccomended to me as a seinen so I guess I just didn't fact check but it was becoming apparent. That said, I wonder what the manga is like, I'll have to find out the official ending anyway

Nah, Akame ga Kill is a shonen, just darker than your average shonen.

The manga is much better than the anime in terms of pacing and development the longest living characters, and although it has followed a similar path to the anime, the execution was better.

Well, I LOVE Akame ga Kill. If you're still on episode 6 it doesn't have nudity throughout the whole season.

It gets a lot more violent, but it's shounen no seinen so there's no guts, just lots of blood ;3.

Warning: Don't get attached to ANY Characters.

If you love the show, I recommend checking out the manga, I prefer the manga over the anime but they are both favorites of mine.

So yeah there's no nudity in Akame Ga Kill, It's a plot heavy series and focuses more on that rather than fanservice.

Enjoy!

I'm really enjoying the show no doubt. I guess the reccendation wasn't 100% accurate in its description but it was a good pick nonetheless. I'm halfway thru and still having a great time. It just really threw me off at first about the tone and i was a little confused. I think when I made this post I was like 80% of the way to realizing on my own lol. Thanks all for the feedback.

Wrong. It is published in shounen magazine, therefore, shounen.

I could not care less where that softcore hentai is published
