| I love the series. I get the impression that Nihei didn't want to get married to any one thread or conflict and so he discards them just as they're starting to ripen. He discards a lot in pursuit of greater art and design, and it's really to the detriment of anyone trying to eke a satisfying narrative out of Biomega. It's often called a mess but I think it's better read as a series of beautiful art books. |
