I'm fairly new to MAL myself and i remember when i first got here not wanting to introduce myself for fear of it being ignored...you probably thinking who cares if its ignored...Yah for most people, I'm guessing that they probably wouldn't care...sighs* i have a fear of rejection...in fact most times i don't bother with forums simply cause i don't like being looked down on for being new, which is the case at a couple other similar forums I've been too lol The welcome i got when i did my first post was so warm...it made me feel apart and id like to welcome other new people who aren't really sure about posting in forums either lol...if people feel like they belong...they more likely to come back and the more the merrier right!? hahaha...well that is just my 2 cents... |
| Oh remixed, your the first official re:post! Well you sure posted a lot sooner than I did. You should be über proud. I felt the same, only I waited almost four months to say anything at all. That fear keeps you from doing everything, well lots of things, I know it. And I usually don't talk that often, so it was weird. But it's a different kind of communication. I was surprised too, and I really liked it. |
| Hiya! Im e_rock (or edgar, my real name) I am a student at ASU (finally graduating! cant wait) and have gotten into anime more and more the past couple months. I was always searching for a place like MAL where I can talk to others who like anime as well as a place that is very welcoming (like the many people who said hi to begin with) I like adventure/ecchi/romance/mecha/slice of life and a couple other genres. My favorites include eureka seven/gundam 00/chobits/suzuka. I like to draw (im trying to get into charcoal portrait drawings), sports (all kinds), and I like learning. I'm trying to learn japanese, chinese, and latin. I want to become worldy knowledgeable while still enjoying the thigns I love (anime for sure). and I like to meet people so I hope to meet and make many new friends. I hope you are all doing well and hope to hear from ya and I'm sure you'll enjoy your time here! |

I think I joined MAL around 2 days ago-ish, so im still a newbie when it comes to this site. They're things like this:      "Usually a signature in a forum, 350 pixels in width, by 19 pixels in height, which usually displays images and the font "Visitor" Displaying what the person likes, such as bands. They can be stacked, or fade into other userbars." a userbar is like a tagline that you can put up on your page or signature that can represent any number of things - a club, you're being a fan of a certain show, character, band, etc. |

I'm into any kind of anime, if your wondering what kind of anime I like. Um, not anime related things.... I'm a freshman in high school (9th grade) and I'm currently taking Japanese for one of my classes. And if my sensei is correct, I might be going to Japan this following or next summer. So I guess thats all ^_^ |

| Guess I should tell you about me...first of all, acommon mistake, I'm a girl, even though my personality is...different. My personality is darker...I'm not the person who's that cheerful. I'll only tell you I'm a teen. I won't tell you exactly where I live...only that I live in Indiana in Chicago suburbs. Yep, the US. I hate city and farmer life... though I really live a city life...personally I just want to get away from people. My friends are truthfully not that smart. I'm the master at tricks...I've even tyed people into balls, don't worry it was a friend, she was sleeping like that, I couldn't resist, it was a joke...so don't ask any questions. I'm truthfully quite good at writing, and drawing. I mainly listen to Metallica, SlipKnot, and DragonForce. Dragons are, of course, an intersting subject. If I was someone from a movie or show...I'd be the bad guy. Not much to talk about...I'm really quite boring...don't pay any attention to me...although this community is a lot more welcoming than most. |

| Hey murtagh1135, if you want to do some writing here, you have a personal blog here that you can use. you can configure it so the entries are public or private, so that people can comment or can't, or so recent updates show up on your profile or not |
