The protagonist is obviously in love with his mother so he would want her to see him naked and realize how attractive he was. Perhaps no one was else was home (the father works and the sister does her own thing). That way he could strip down without being seen. Perhaps he put his clothes straight in the laundry room, I'm sure most people take shortcuts when they're alone that they wouldn't otherwise. Anyway, I actually found this episode rather boring. I think the terribly slow pace was exacerbated by the slow animation. Otherwise the story was fine, I just think they could've picked up the pace and shaved off more than a few minutes. The character designs were really plain, but I actually think that made them look better. Or at least Junko and Miki looked good. Ryouichi's proportions looked a little off in some shots. I liked Ryouichi's "rape outfit", I think it actually did a good job hiding his identity. Of course, as soon as the scene began I knew it was him because of the meta, but it was still cool. I must admit, Junko was really attractive. I think the plain design made her look younger. The step-dad was certainly lucky to marry her. |
