I'm not a big fan of Yaoi, but I do read Yuri from time to time. The Yuri titles that I've read all accurately represent homosexuality in their own ways. Though I couldn't care less about whether it represents homosexuality. I am extremely annoyed at some of its fanbase and that's reason enough for I myself to personally treat yaoi as something distasteful, isn't it? Just like it is reasonable (but not objective) to dislike naruto because of its fanbase that consist of mainly of fanboys who don't know any better. |
