Monogatari Series: First Season

| Simple question, simple answer. It's a special. All four parts released on the same night as a 2 hours special for new years eve 2012 |
| It plays a crucial role if you plan on watching the Monogatari Series: Second Season, at is includes "Kuro", while the beginning of SS has "Shiro". Anyhow, it is a 4-episoded Arc. Yes "Arc" would be the most accurate word to desribe it. As Hitagi Crab, for example, focused on Hitagi, but didn't overtake the whole series, Kuro focuses purely on Tsubasa. Basically, it continues the story, just the release itself is in the independent 4-episoded state. |
