| well hello there, this will be my first time starting a topic on any forum. if i do something wrong, please tell me so i can improve myself in the future :) It has been 4 years already since this series was launched, i recently re-watched it and realized i loved the OST, but still hadn't downloaded it, so i did a few searches on BakaBT, Nyaa and several other OST distribution websites and found nothing. very unusual as there are next to no anime OSTs that are not on BakaBT. as it was nowhere to be found on any website, i decided to buy it and visited the original website, with the help of google translate i found the "music" page: http://www.ntv.co.jp/bungaku/music.html which clearly states: COMING SOON. I don't know how long it has been there but "SOON" and "more than 4 years" don't match in my opinion. so, my actual question is: Is the OST ever going to be released, or is it on hiatus for a reason I haven't read about? PS. I'm also thinking about sending NTV an Email, but their email is also nowhere to be found. so if you could help me on that part, that would be greatly appreciated too. |

| I recently started watching Mouryou no Hako, and the OST from there is the same as the one from "Run, Melos!", It's possible that the other short stories borrowed their OSTs from elsewhere too. |

I know i'm like 11 years late to the show and 6 years late to reply but I just watched the show and I feel like this is probably right. I know for sure I've heard the OSTs from ep 11 and 12 before in some playlist on youtube but can't find them anywhere when searching for the Aoi Bungaku OST. In particular episode 11 had 2 tracks I know are out there, the one at 6:47, which was the primary one i wanted to find in the first place, and the track as the one where he descends into hell at 15:26, that progression in the beginning is unforgettable and I'm sure i heard it on youtube before. If anyone can find either of those soundtracks I would be eternally grateful. |
| Did some more research, and proved myself wrong. It seems like just "Run, Melos!" soundtrack was from something else, Hideki Taniuchi did everything else. I did wind up finding the hell soundtrack i previously mentioned, but only a reconstruction of it here. Hoping we get a real release someday or at least a high quality leak. |
